If we could rearrange your post, it would sum up several concerns and observations by myself and othe folks here: The team IS younger now, very much so. Ruff, ideally, should be just letting them play, but I think maybe they're being over-coached...too much detail thrown at them, too much mental, physical, emotional up and down inside the system. It's a pattern we see not only with rookies, but even veteran NHLers new to the organization. There are several young talents essentially being wrecked in front of our eyes; Lindy Ruff and his team should NOT be allowed to do this anymore.

Hockey has caught up with politics. With that being the case, we can expect action to be taken, or not taken, based on popular opinion and all the trappings that come with that kind of decision making. If the "organization" doesn't like something, they can just try and change popular opinion.

Not me. Which is not to say I disagree with sitting Myers, but I just thought the D was crap. Miller saved their bacon. It's difficult to point to any one player, though, which is the disturbing part. All of them will make a judgment error at the wrong time during the game at some point, it seems.

Lindy has to coach by proxy: Adams is his proxy. So, Adams will tell the players to do something while Ruff is standing right there and they'll tell Adams to tell Ruff they don't want to do that because they're still shattered emotionally. Sorry, just thought of that.
