The more I watch us “compete” against the good teams in this league, the more I’m convinced we are light years away.

Viewed it from the Buffalo Outer Harbor and even though the sun only poked thru for a few minutes here and there, it was a fantastic experience. Neil De Grasse Tyson said to have a clear view of the horizon to really appreciate how the darkness rolls in and he was right. It came in off the lake and just enveloped us in darkness, while off in the distance it looked like a pink and orange sunset. Again, the clouds made it less than optimal, but it was worth every second of the experience.

I assure you, the great ones are certainly not a dime a dozen. That said, a great QB can certainly turn average into good and good into really good.

It ain’t about owning/not owning one’s opinions, it’s about not being a douche in the process, which Mr. Allen was, but that’s just my opinion. 😂 Opinions can and should be flexible based on the information they are based on at the time they are formed. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Watching this team keep spinning its wheels lost its entertainment value a while ago. The simple fact is we regressed from last season. Not saying the season hasn’t had its moments particularly where Oopie is concerned, and Benson has been a revelation. But all in all, just not much to write home about.

I’m all for giving Power the time he needs to grow and develop into the defenseman we all want to see and he has shown some glimpses in the midst of some gaffs, but what is this about this team being “competent and good” since he got here? We’ve been inconsistent at best. At best.

Buffalo certainly won’t be the only place marred by cloud cover for the eclipse, as most of the center of totality in the US has clouds in the forecast. While not optimal, it doesn’t have to run the event for people.
