That was just may lame attempt at saying I'll pay attention to the polls when he does.

I haven't looked to see whose poll you are referencing, but I'll go out on a limb and say it's Rasmussen. Am I right? What does Nate Silver have to say?

Like I said, who doesn't like irony. There are a myriad of issues in getting a viable third party off the ground. We can start with getting all private money out of the process in favor of publicly funded elections and bringing back the Fairness Doctrine. The bigger question is will these people have enough polls to get out to and will they face an ID hassle when they get there.

We could call it "The Independent Party" because who doesn't like irony.

This made me laugh. Much appreciated on a crappy day. GO SABRES!!!

All it took was one pinhead to flip the bird at anyone who doesn't think it's all a big fallacy. -
Won't matter when you have GOP run state houses reducing the number of polling places from over 200 down to 60 in efforts to suppress voters like in Arizona. GOP can't win a majority of hearts and minds with their policies, so let's just phuck those we can't convert. 200 down to 60. Think about that for a minute. Thank-you SCOTUS, for making a mockery of the voting rights act.

I'm not advocating that the scientists who study it rely on common sense, although that is a large part of the scientific method and shouldn't be pooh-poohed and dismissed out of hand. Science is an evolving methodology but that doesn't mean we should wait until all the answers are in. The evidence gathered in search of better answers serves to inform in the meantime. I happen to agree with the vast majority of scholars who say the paradigm regarding climate study has already shifted over the last 40 years. I'm saying that when it comes to whether or not we should believe that human beings have and continue to contribute to the problem of increased greenhouse gases in he atmosphere, common sense should inform the opinion. -

What it all boils down to for me is common sense: if human beings have introduced increasingly high levels of greenhouse gases while at the same time denuding forests since the beginning of the industrial revolution, how can we not be a contributing factor? We are. Period. We are part of nature and everything in it impacts everything else to some degree, especially in a small, enclosed ecosphere. Special interests seek to obfuscate the argument by throwing endless amounts of crap against the wall in the hopes of protecting those interests. I get that, too. But their lack of custodial conscience bothers the ever loving phuck out of me. I also believe that we, as a species, are past the point of no return; the human race will be severely impacted by these changes. The earth will simply continue to evolve as it always has but you can't impact its environment without impacting the life forms that share it. Also period. I'll drop it now, because like everything else in the public discourse, there has to be us against them mentality where every argument has to be drawn along partisan political lines when that's not the point. And it's nauseating. -
I agree and I didn't mean to take anything away from Matthews. There is a lot to be said for poise; it's perhaps the most important aspect a playmaker possesses. It just wasn't a highlight of sick stick handling and moves that I thought I was going to see. GO SABRES!!!

This is what is comes down to for me. Like Bill Maher said, "don't be an ass about it" when discussing the legions of Bernie voters who will not vote democrat as a form of protest. He is right, a non-vote is a vote for Trump and is something Trump is banking on. Trump is the least presidential of any candidate in my lifetime; even more so than G Dub, whose policies will take decades to rectify. If democrats insist on a protest vote, then vote in protest of a clueless megalomaniac by voting for whomever is your nominee. Don't be an ass about, a non vote is just as good as a vote for Trump. As for your thoughts on corporate America, I suggest reading the recent article in TIME about how capitalism has changed over the last 40 years. It was a real eye-opener and has me doing much more research on the matter. Long story short, corporate America has been negatively impacted by the emergence of various new funds on Wall Street and our debt-fueled economy in the face of the decades of deregulation. Corporate America is not the enemy and it has become harder for it to bestow the benefits to the citizenry it once did.

Do you want to engage in a link-posting war because there is certainly no shortage of articles, studies, or articles about studies supporting the 97% figure? Yes, it's a conspiracy of 198 international organizations, both governmental and private, that have studied the data for decades and have reached the same conclusions. Toward what end, I'd like to know. On a side note, when just half of the deniers I talk to can distinguish the difference between climate and weather, perhaps I'll be more persuaded by their arguments. -
If you scroll down Stephanie's twitter page, you will find a gif of Matthew's shootout goal. Nothing spectacular. More poor goalie technique than anything special by Matthews. GO SABRES!!!

What a fantastic idea! Poor energy companies. I think they'll tolerate using less petroleum and natural gas for transportation, heating, and other energy requirements. But replacing plastics? NEVER!! -

Yeah, d4rk has hand. And he's gonna need it. -
My apologies for any confusion. Although I've read the books, I am speculating only in terms of the television show. The characters and story lines on the show have been so combined, altered, shortened, changed, ignored etc. etc., that I hardly think of them as the same story anymore.

I don't think LIndzen's research has been dismissed out of hand by the scientific community; it has legitimate holes that have been scrutinized by scientists just as qualified around the world. And I understand the urge many of us have to glamorize the underdog and the less accepted view in the face of an overwhelming majority. I get the impression Lindzen has found a nice and hugely rewarding niche in an audience that wants to hear a certain thing. -

I don't know if he's a tool or not, but I'm suspicious by nature and when you click on the links of those sights that post the 3% studies, etc, it's usually a short walk to some big player in the energy industry. It's uncanny. -
I suspect Bran holds powers that Blood Raven doesn't possess. And Blood Raven knows it. I think Bran is going to be needed in ways Blood Raven never was when it comes to the war that's coming.

One of the 3% of climate-scientists worldwide who aren't on board. A senior fellow at the CATO Institute. Where do they get their funding again? No doubt early research is often decried and then accepted later on. When it comes to climate study worldwide, however, the paradigm shift has already occurred. -

There are 197 international scientific organizations who have reached the same conclusions independently. Are they all cooking their books, too? Meanwhile, the science cited by deniers is funded by the very industry that stands to lose the most. It's uncanny. Stands to reason there was a high level of green house gas in pre-historic times given the volcanic activity at the time. And that was WITH high vegetation growth. But we can't cite volcanic activity today and we only have a fraction of the vegetation to mitigate co2 levels. My favorite example of deniers is Florida, where the governor has made it official policy that you can't even mention the terms "global warming" or "climate change" and yet they are in the midst of spending billions to mitigate an expected rise in sea levels. Why is that, I wonder? -
Anyone else intrigued by Bran calling out to the young Eddard as he ascended the steps of the Tower of Joy and Eddard pausing, as if he heard something? I think Bran is gonna be flashing some mad skills down the road.

Yes. Which is why their decision on how to designate him is important. If he is PUP after the preseason, he must miss a mandatory six games. There's a good chance they will carry him on the active roster depending on how the IR is shaking out at that point. GO BILLS!!!
