    That NFC GM doesn't know what he is talking about. That's not uncommon though, as most GMs aren't cap managers for their own teams, let alone others and intimant details of another team's cap would be foreign. For instance, has this GM compared the number of players under contract that currently count against our cap vs. other teams? Does he have knowledge of how those current contracts might be restructured to easily facilitate cap room? Which players might be let go? GO BILLS!!!

    Our election system makes some third world countries look advanced. For all of our bullschit rhetoric about our cherished voting rights being the cornerstone of our democracy, we do more to trample on it than anything. Our elections should be about getting the most people involved and with the most convenience afforded to accomplish that. Gee, I just can't imagine why we don't. This. Voting fraud problems are virtually non-existent.

    I'm less worried about where Eichel's snipe is than I am about the snipe of his linemates. Countless great passes wasted on guys with no finish. The pass to DeLo last night was another example. That said, he needs to shoot more. GO SABRES!!!

    Good catch, PA. And good analysis of the cupholder in Jimmy's life now. Loved how he forced it for a second and then just casually tossed the cup into the passenger seat. He discarded it like I think he's gonna discard Kim. He just kept eating that pie while just looking right at her.

    Great point. I would add that these writers have evolved to the point where they can finish each others' sentences, too. Just a far tighter production from the outset. Kim pissed me off last night and I wonder how much longer Jimmy will abide her hypocrisy. She was laughing about the ruse he played on the cops and then gets all sanctimonious about the video. Guess it is OK to lie to the police but not OK to manufacture the evidence to support that lie.

    Exactly. Political posturing is one thing, not doing your duty is quite another. Regardless of the rhetoric, nominees were named, hearings were held, and nominees were voted on. The process was not obstructed. This current group of cowards won't even have hearings for any nominees. Not a good precedent to set.

    Ah, great point here. I hadn't thought about the opportunity it presented Kane for just what you suggest. I don't think he has ever been leaned on as a locker room presence before, but there is a void for him to fill now. I think he's up for it, too. GO SABRES!!!

    For one period, I agree. We put up 15 shots, controlled play, and had a physical edge. From the 2nd on, the Penguins made it a point to use their speed and they totally outplayed us. Just dominated us. 15 shots in the first and a whopping 12 over the next two. We were atrocious in the face off dot, especially in key situations. REALLY missed ROR, but I have a firm grasp of the obvious. I know we gave up a fluke shortie, but they also rang a few off the iron, too. Can't wait for that torch to be passed. I HATE that phucking team with a passion. They are up there with Boston, TO, Philly in my book. GO SABRES!!!

    My earlier frustration is directly related to the amount of enthusiasm I had going into today's game. Even the late word of ROR's absence didn't dampen it. There is NO team I would rather beat more than Pittsburgh. I am just tired of being their personal b*tches game after game, year after year. GO SABRES!!!

    Kane needs to be on the line with Larsson and Gionta. That line was dominant when together. And nobody cares when a winger phucks up the scoring chances for two other forwards that can't score anyway. GO SABRES!!! "Almost" Bailey is quick becoming his nickname. GO SABRES!!!
