  1. That's actually what they did, not the lesson they learned.
  2. Now that I know the "link?" comment was for the rest of my post and not the interview,... that's just funny. I have no source other than Brawndo, but I trust him,... and I really need to believe that it's true. Other than we get to watch some really good hockey the next few months, probably not.
  3. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/sabres/listen-granato-sabres-need-to-finish-on-available-scoring-chances Scroll down to where it says the Jeremy and Joe show. He starts talking about the arena at around 17:30, then gets asked the question about boos and fire donnie around 20:00
  4. I just listened to the interview. I do not have the same take on it as you do and don't think it is as big of an issue as you. I just want to say that as a really young team (I know, I know) that does not yet have the full support of ownership (financial restraints come off next year), this could end up being a good thing and they could actually learn from it and end up better in the long run for it. Just thought you should know.
  5. I think Tage has looked much better of late. He has even played a little more of a physical game. It's just weird now that he just can't hit the net. I wonder if it is still his wrist.
  6. Ugh. So, it is the fan’s fault?
  7. They all are. Granato interviews are no different than every coach's interview. I think they are all a waste of time.
  8. I would love to go. Just another game on TV for us out-of-towners. I think it's cool. Especially if I can find a way to go. Prague has been on my bucket list for a while. Welcome to the board. The gate money will be a lot more. I wonder if the team will stick salute them.
  9. It's pathetic. The way you support your coach is by winning, or if you don't win, at least look like you were trying.
  10. You continuing to miss the point is epically hilarious and has been the highlight of this thread. God bless you, JohnC.
  11. Not really sure what that means, but, I’m innocent. I don’t play for the team and I certainly don’t go to games.
  12. Can anyone think of another player who made themself go offside after making a pass? We’ve seen Dahlin do this more than once. It’s weird. And kinda stupid.
  13. Again, still not the point of this thread. I, too, don’t care about it or even see it, but, for the team to intentionally spite the fans because they themselves suck is ridiculous. Does anybody remember a players only post game meeting? It might be stupid, but at least it shows that they care and take some responsibility themselves. What they did basically says, “look, we know we suck. We don’t care, and shut up about it. We don’t want to hear it.”
  14. It was a joke, but you just showed that this year, they have the same number of wins at home as they do on the road, and thus, just as rare. 😂
  15. But it was a false, manufactured bond using someone else’s tradition. Yep Still missing the point. I have news for you, their away wins are just as rare.
  16. It was never the Sabres tradition. I believe it was the Rangers’es’. Then all of a sudden they started doing it. Always seemed forced to me.
  17. Getting ready to head to a beautiful sunny day on the mountain. Just hope it doesn’t ice up too much once the sun goes down.
  18. I just can't get past Brawndo's post. For me, everything about this team, for the rest of this year, will be viewed through the lens of them pissing on our legs and telling us it's raining. They care more about finances than about winning, and they try to convince us otherwise. It's insulting. But at least Terry is in those hockey meetings.
  19. JFC!! Lucky us! What a shocker. Everything we've been saying is true. They don't care about winning. FU Terry, if you don't want to be a real NHL owner, then sell the team. Has there ever been a worse one? Certainly not by record.
