I don’t get the false equivalency thing when it comes to an amorphous group of idiots doing things and a government backed group of idiots doing the very hateful things they campaigned on. Whatever has happened before, I believe that Trump is a fascist and that the Constitution is currently under the greatest threat it has been under since at least post WWII McCarthyism and maybe even since the Civil War. Sorry, Wookie's first paragraph just made me roll my eyes. As someone in the center, the only group that has been crying louder than the woke left is the Trump right. Sorry Wook, there is no attack on Western civilization. There are just people that want the same rights, as guaranteed by the constitution, as everyone else, even if they are not straight and white.

The thing about the cuts is that they are not going line by line. They are hack and slay, slash and burn cuts with no thought whatsoever as to what they are cutting. I think the best thing about all the cuts is that all of these Trumpers, crying about abuse and waste are going to end up realizing just how important the federal is in their own lives. Hopefully they will stop crying about it going forward. Just wait until they start going after the VA and veterans' retirements. How else are they going to pay for Elon's next contract.
