  1. Absolutely!!! šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»
  2. Dude. Sorry to hear this. There is a huge shake up where I work. Lots of layoffs (some deserved, but still sucks). Iā€™ā€™m safe, but lucky me, itā€™s all happening at the same time that my brain decided to be a dick and try to kill me again. You just canā€™t imagine how hard it is to pretend to give a ***** about the extra workload and new schedules, while trying to figure a treatment plan and surgery schedule. Like it or not, soon Iā€™m going to be out 4 to 6 weeks, and I wonā€™t be thinking about you. The upside is I told my buddy that Iā€™ll be showing up at his house with a zipper on my head right around the time the lakers start to head into the lower Niagara.
  3. The older I get, the more I realize that being on time just means you have to ***** wait longer.
  4. Settle down, Snowflake. jkšŸ˜‚
  5. Now, now. Every team is afforded the same opportunity to win. If they donā€™t, it has to be their own fault.
  6. Why do you care about an increased in revenue or cap? Tickets are already too expensive and the league is already strong. I genuinely donā€™t care about a balanced schedule, either. That stuff works itself out over an 82 game season and 4 rounds of playoffs, anyway. More importantly, none of that makes the game itself better. There are too many historically AHL level players already in the league. With less elite talent to go around, percentage wise, you will see more dynasties as teams amass a bunch of good players, which is absolutely not good for the league overall. It certainly wonā€™t be good for the Sabres,ā€¦ or Nashville.
  7. Now, if they make the playoffs, make them again the next year, and the next, and go on to win ā€œmultiple Stanley Cups,ā€ then, and only then, should we think the plan was successful.
  8. I bet there is a thread about that over on the Predators forum.
  9. I guess. That, and a cup of coffee will get you another year of missing the playoffs.
  10. I donā€™t think itā€™s ridiculous at all. Whats disappointing to me is that people can still buy into their promise of the future, while watching them do nothing to change that future. Unless the internal cap (which I personally believe exists) gets lifted, and we see a much different off-season this summer, I think weā€™re going to get the same season we have seen this year.
  11. SMH. This is his 18th year in the league and people are still questioning his fitness?! Curse of the fat face, I guess. I would bet that 3/4ths of this board wishes they were as fit as he is. I think he would make the Sabres better if they got him. He couldn't produce any less than Benson, who we are all in love with, myself included.
  12. I do not now, nor have I ever, cared about who is/was the captain of our team (or any team, really.) I think it is overblown, and I just don't care who gets to talk to refs about a penalties or where the face-off is.
  13. Well, putting a C on him is a sure way to get him off the team.
  14. Arenā€™t rosters locked. People also keep mentioning trying out young guys the rest of the season. I thought that could only happen through an emergency call up due to an injury. Do I have that right or is that date later in the season?
  15. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/authors/schopp-and-bulldog Three minutes into the ā€œFrustrations boil over with the Sabresā€ 4:30pm hour 2 clip had me really laughing at work on Friday.
  16. Iā€™m not really sure you do. šŸ˜‚
  17. Good. Then there is an actual reason why I couldnā€™t watch.
