I think the Tuch hype that we are seeing is a result of a fan base like ours absolutely starving for anyone to believe in. Plus Tuch being a WNY guy does prop him up a bit, I understand why that happens but also it inflates his impact a bit. Krebs is the player that we REALLY should be waiting for, he is the key to the Eichel trade and that will not change.

As far as judging KA and his eye for talent, it starts for me with Jack Quinn. Then Owen Power. And now, haven't the Sabres hired some hot shot analytics people and will be lean on them to make the ultimate decisions?

Said this 1000 times and will say it 1001: The tank for McDavid/Eichel was absolutely the best move. The steps AFTER the tank is what gave the perception that the tank was wrong.

Let the tank commence -
Well they say in most cases the truth is in the middle so I suppose we will never 100 percent know. All I know is it seems because of a fluky decent start for the Sabres some fans have lost sight of the true cancer. Ownership. They still are a #@#@ stain in my eyes and have MUCH to prove to change that fact.

Dahlin - It’s time to take a stand
Palm Trees And Taxes replied to Pimlach's topic in The Aud Club
Would Dahlin be best with Jokiharu? -
Dominik Hasek demanded to be traded and wanted to orchestrate the trade to the team he wanted and wanted to ensure the Sabres did NOT get a big return to ensure that the team that Dom was going to was going to be a Cup contender. Eichel wanted to have surgery that has never been performed on a NHL player EVER to ultimately HELP the team he still wanted to leave, to get Buffalo a better return so he can still help he team he wanted to leave. Just marinate on this for a bit.

Dahlin's rookie year the forward crop was much better then now or in the previous two seasons. Are offensive defenseman like Dahlin more co-dependent on having skilled forwards then the other way around? For example if you plop Dahlin on Edmonton now, how many points does Dahlin rack up this year?
