Giant video boards, gambling, social media, arenas with open areas where fans can mingle and eat and drink, broadcasts where the game isn't called (St. Louis jumped the shark and I don't care who died).

Mike's stadium cost angle is weird. It's a couple million bucks. If anything for Terry it's the idea of doing it AGAIN, or the notion he started off with as owner... Citing stability in the Steelers org... "Panic doesn't seem to be working."

Dan takes the accent literally and says Ro ZAY en. I've also heard Roseanne. Wonder if he's Americanized the pronunciation just to simplify things.

Rod sees meddling TP as owner and rink manager Adams as GM. Why would he touch this situation with a 10 foot pole? It would have to take Pegula signing a restraining order and an agreement Rod can hire his GM.

I've often wondered what the league office and other owners think of the calamity in Buffalo? Maybe things are proceeding apace. The team could move any day now and who would care? Sometimes I think I smell a rat. Why did he buy the team again?

So it seems Carolina rolled out a play by play-less broadcast tonight. Just two guys saying ohhhh nice save and ohhhh yeah when the Canes scored. And stories about Arturs Irbe. Bizarre.

The Blues broadcast had some dude mumbling a story about I have no idea what when the Sabres scored off the faceoff. The mumbling went through the replays right up to the ensuing faceoff.

Do you remember Rick calling the Bisons? Cool! I know he did the final season, which culminated in a championship. No recordings lf it exist that I am aware of. Would love to know what he said.

I revel in trying to show some of you the light. Pegula is terrible. Don is a fraud. Levi is not ready. These are easy takes to get right. If it earns me the ahole moniker so be it.
