Agree. POTY. What has confounded me over the years is how and why people give goalies the "didn't have a chance" excuse. I guess I know why. You were a goalie in grade school floor hockey and are scarred by all the leakers. You have a narrative about a certain goalie. You have a plum job as an analyst for Terry Frackbags. There's a bare minimum percentage of shots you have to stop to stay in the bigs. Period. Those saves by definition have to include many you had no business stopping. If you didn't have a chance on that deflection, the next save on a deflection must be pure luck?

What was it? (On a broadcast note, Dan failed on Biro's first NHL goal. He didn't make it special for the young man. He is a functional NHL player with no finish around the goal. Dan, not BB.) Perfectly said. Keep saying it. PTR and others don't get it. It's almost an uncanny ability that some goalies have. But you can't throw the goalie that lifeline all the time. The numbers don't lie. He has to stop them.

That was a nice one to come home to. Both the NHL and SportsNet packages showed no highlights for the second period. Did literally nothing happen?

I have trouble casting the archived games. Not the live game. It plays for a short time then returns to the starting. I assumed it was my phone, TV and Wifi not getting along. Another issue with MSG Plus is that the game isn't archived right after it ends. They do replay the game, but what if you miss the start? Not sure when the archived version is released; I watch the next morning. However I've already seen the highlights (never go to bed mad at your SO and never go to bed not knowing the Sabres score). For many reasons, it's just a terrible experience.
