Until someone has something concrete, I'd put that in the same folder as the Pat Kane to Buffalo suppostions that come up from time to time.

He's eyeing up which Habs he's going to take a hack at with no risk of a beat down.

Sabres finish 11th in the EC, with 81 points Vanek: 33 Leino: 65 Miller/Vanek: Both sign with Sabres Cup: Sharks/Bruins, Bruins in 5. Randoms: Scott fights 8 times, wins 6. Kaleta plays more than 60 games. 5 lost due to suspension. Stafford scores more than 20 goals, still traded at deadline for mid-first round pick. Josie914 ostracized when she decides to root for Detroit. No fights in the first Toronto game. Three in the second game. Sabres only win one game against Philly, so I have to hear about the rest at work.

Wait, you think Stafford should have kept an A? I'm not trying to flame here, but you might need to step back; you hate everything the Sabres do.

I had just moved to Maryland when the Bills walloped the Redskins many years ago (2002). Stuck a printed Bills logo on my cube wall and let the comments come. :)

We have a pretty Arian looking leadership...

Yeah, so they picked *two* guys that now have leverage. :)

The actress is actually from Vancouver, I believe. Also, Cobie Smulders is *such* a porn name. It's up there with Jorja Fox.

My former beer fridge is out in the garage, but I haven't used it in quite awhile. It's covered with Sabres stickers and magnets, FWIW. It used to live at the end of my couch.

Slow-smoked bacon. Think, slab of bacon in the smoker. OMG (WTFBBQ).

I probably spoke poorly. There's no good reason to have it at home in light of trying to lose weight and drink less. :) There are plenty of good reasons to have beer at home. Working in the garage, for instance.

The first few days are tough, but after a few more I start to lose the craving. I've decided that I'm no longer keeping beer in the house. I'll have some when I'm out for a "special" occaision (like, "It's Thursday!"), but there's no good reason to have it at home.

Mmm, breakfast... http://www.victorybeer.com/ai1ec_event/dirtwolf-release-breakfast-2/?instance_id=168

The more I think about it, it was the wheat, not the darker beer I was thinking about. It was a completely serviceable wheat beer, but I had already had a few others before that I don't have a clear memory of it. I would definately seek out more beers from them. Good to see you, SD. May all the Sabres-Canes games be fun and hard faught... and Canes losses. :)

I had some Hanburg at the Hamburg Octoberfest a week or two ago. Not bad, but nothing that jumped out at me either. They only had one beer of a style I'm not particularly fond of though, so I'd love to try a few of their others.

That's really the only reasonable answer. Stupid F'N NHL.

Beer while mending fences is in PA law. Complaint: already late for work this morning, two seperate random traffic jams slowed me down even more. One was a lane blocked for mowing, the second was an accident in a construction zone. There was an accident in the same area on the other side of the highway, I'm betting one of those was a rubber-neck rear ending.

I don't think you're in the minority, I think a somewhat vocal minority does want him gone. Rickshaw, how about a poll on this post? How about: Gone, Keep, or Keep only if he cleans up. I think he's valuable enough that if he picks his spots (and he seems to have been better about that lately, last game notwithstanding), he has enough speed, hands, and D ability to be worthwhile guy on the 4th line.

Those soft teams will never go anywhere in the playoffs.

I kinda saw that after I posted it.

You ate my sister! I don't really know where this came from originally, but it's on theregister.co.uk. I'm almost wonder if it's NHL-related, since the rest of the shirt/jersey doesn't seem to bare any resemblence to the Canes.
-
I wondered about that, thanks!

Yeah, because the coaching staff is reading this thread. :)

I spy... an American flag hung the wrong way. The blue field is always in the top-left corner (and yes, it does seem wrong). The blue field on the bottom right (upside down) is a signal of distress.
