They should have to pay you at the same interest rate they charge. I'd abuse the hell out of that. My wife is constantly playing this game. My personal favorite is when they "accidentally" cancel the prescription, forcing her to scramble last second and go to the local CVS with no choice but to pay that jacked up price.

I do think they’ll put Johnson in a position where he can earn a mid-season call up. I’m slightly intrigued there. And can they add any other Johnsons that played D at Minnesota just to confuse me even more?

He does have a say in his contract situation though.

I don’t think they’re done, so I don’t know how to answer that question right now. And the cap stuff wasn’t sabre-specific, at least not this year. I would be curious to see just how many teams do carry the full 23 the majority of the time. There’s now way Toronto was with the cap gymnastics they’re constantly playing. I’d also imagine there’s a difference from east/west on teams that do.

But is making it easier to practice worth the possibility of carry a guy who sits in the press box for a month straight? I’m not crazy about that one. And then there’s the cap implications if you’re finally a team up near the cap. For any team there, I’d much rather stop one short of the max roster, so one extra forward, one extra D.

I’m confused as to why they’re going crazy improving what was already the strongest part of their roster and not finding the goa scoring they so badly need.

He did have a bad home game this year, 6-5 loss with an empty net goal. Last year he had a 7-3 win with 35 saves and a 42 save shut out in their two home games. Im too lazy to look back any further. But again, this hardly looks like a guy getting lit up every start.

I will say that I think it’s pretty cool for Domi to be signing with them.

Found it. This was only games in Vegas, which was his original point a month ago. So maybe it’s possible he “always” got lit up in Winnipeg.
