Send them Skinner <ducks for cover>

Nope, there aren't any jokes to be had in this one. Not a single one. But anyway, we had a screen porch installed last spring and I'm not finding out that there are a ton of seams that need to be caulked. The guy who installed it said I only needed to get a few spots, but now after a bit of settling, I can see that I need to do a lot more. I've done about a quarter of it so far. It's not tough, just a bit of a tedious procedure. Hopefully we'll have a warm weekend or two in the next few weeks and I can finish it.

Might want to spin this one off somewhere else before it goes off the rails (if it hasn't already) and gets ugly.

It's not completely unheard of though. Sometimes players just aren't a fit with their college team, leave, then go on to better things. The ones who pull it off tend to head to major junior instead, at least the ones who I am thinking of off the top of my head. If the kid is by some chance a late bloomer, the team at least has the luxury to sit back and let it play out, not being the least bit rushed. So say he does sign on with a new school and thrives there, that puts him at 22 if/when he graduates. CJ Smith was 22 when we signed him and people seem to think he's got a shot. I don't mean to compare the two players at all here. Smith is just the first example that comes to mind of a guy coming along at an older age. Murray was 19 when his time at Penn State came to and end. I don't think he's got much of a shot, but I wouldn't rule it out completely. We were all ready to write off another guy from that draft when he was 19 too.

They're very different up there. They know who their locals are and they very loyal, especially when it comes to guys with ties with their junior teams.

I wonder if Skinner actually split the Toronto vote a bit since he's from the area. I could also see other voters leaning towards a forward over a defenseman.

Ahhh the wonders of twitter. Did he miss a few words there, what exactly is he referring to in the line about 0-6 in the last 6 meetings?

New glasses? They would replace someone within the division, so it couldn't be OV.

I didn't realize until now that they had moved away from the blue jerseys again. Those ones were pretty good. That team went though such a long period of ugly jerseys when they went through that 90s phase of darker jerseys. It's a shame to see that they've taken a step back again.

I'm pretty I had read that Disney can't just bring the show over to their service as is. They'd have to make a new show, or probably team up some of the other canceled shows. I'd imagine a very easy work around to this would be making a new Daredevil show, but with a new name. It's Disney, they'll find a workaround fairly quickly.

I'm pretty sure it will be hosted on their service for quite a while, but yes, the show has already been canceled. Now there's a complaint right there.

Have you by any chance watched the 3rd season of Daredevil? It gives you a whole new level of appreciation for bank shots.

Why do I always miss all the fun?

The side walk in question had a really steep hill to one side. So if you play it correctly, the people roll down the hill. Problem solved.

Clearly Gilbert left for a new VP job at said bar. Is that better?

It's not really all that cryptic. Fattey is co-owner of a bottle shop.

Missing a shuttle bus by about 30 seconds after getting stuck behind two people blocking an entire sidewalk while they walk as slow as humanly possible while talking. All groups of people who refuse to break from their side-by-side formation on a sidewalk even though other people are coming should be shot... especially when the sidewalk is in a spot where you can only step off it it to one side, but doing so gets you get by a car.

I can't be the only one who finds this routine ridiculously annoying.

Dave's not here.

Does a player actually have to declare for the draft if they no longer have any remaining NCAA eligibility? I don't know if that's the case for Murray or not, but either way, I'm still curious about the answer.

I'll be in section 110 as long as I haven't passed out after eating too many babies. Edit: Make that 107. I never learned to read.

That and Donner wound up stringing together a pretty solid directing career. Edit: And speaking of that song, my 5 year old niece had a pretty interesting take on it this year. She kept saying that there are only 8 reindeer because Rudolph is imaginary. None of us dared to dig any deeper into why she kept saying it.

Did anyone else in here get it by email? I'm not really sure why I did. It's one of those ticketmaster like cases where I bought something probably 10 years ago at this point but I still get all their junk mail.

I got an email today from the Bills today with a stadium survey. I'm not wasting my time with it, but the text in the email said it's about both renovation and new locations.

The second one is the main point that wasn't already mentioned, he would need to agree to the rehab stint. There'd really be no reason not to though. Wilson has a one way deal, so the 3rd point has no impact on his situation here.
