  1. Not yet. He still has one year left on his ELC.
  2. https://www.tsn.ca/arizona-coyotes-clayton-keller-reach-eight-year-deal-1.1360405 Clayton Keller just signed an 8 year extension. This should at least ease some people's fears that all of the high profile entry level guys (coughDAHLINcough) will start to follow the approach of this year's class. That long term security still appeals to some.
  3. I'd be curious to see if there is a lot of overlap between the agents of these still unsigned RFAs. I'd suspect a bit of collusion on their part. And I don't mean to imply a negative spin with that term collusion, they're allowed to do it if they want.
  4. What are they even going for there? The fishstick jersey belongs in the horrible jersey category. The Sabres one doesn't belong in that conversation or in the best conversation either.
  5. They keep looking for better helmets to prevent concussions, but all it takes is crazy hair.
  6. Weather makes sense. I know I've seen those before and I just naturally assumed hurricane. Those things are fun, by the way. My weekend started with me thinking my brother would be up from Florida and ended with me instead thinking my friend in Charleston will be here.
  7. Thanks for making me feel old. That would have been my first draft eligible year. I still have no idea why everyone passed on me each time.
  8. I'll ignore the Sabre side of the earlier argument for now. But even without specifics like this, the Bills have made the playoffs once over a 20 year span (or maybe it's twice, whatever). It's completely reasonable for people to be skeptical after so much time. Fool me once, shame on me. How does the saying go when it gets up to "fool me 18 times"?
  9. I've seen that guy in the past. Is it always hurricane videos?
  10. I'm willing to bet that he was getting low balled by ownership, didn't want to leave the array but also didn't want to play for too small of a salary.
  11. This offseason is definitely a unique one. I'm not so sure we have any comparable here. I feel like there's more unsigned RFAs at this point than all of the post-2005 seasons combined.
  12. You beat me too it. I was getting ready to post this:
  13. If they're actually pushing this as the end of the Skywalker story, that makes it pretty clear that a very specific person has to die in the movie. Unless there's some kids we haven't been introduced to, there's only one left from that bloodline.
  14. He's been in broadcasting for a longer time than his playing career at this point. I'm amazed if people are just figuring out now that he's lousy. There's a reason that CBS took him out of the booth and put him on the sidelines.
  15. I don't see it as booing Luck. To me, they're booing the news more than anything. It's less of a "we hate you Andrew Luck" and more of a "oh crap, we're going to suck again".
  16. I just found them through the one Buffalo site. I've seen worse, namely on the NHL shop page. I'm glad I found my way to that site though. They actually do have an option for a royal blue hat (bonus points for none of the silver/gray in the logo). The picture makes it look like it's got some weird blue on blue camo pattern going though, which throws me off a bit. Edit: And all this stuff with the buffalo but no crossing swords? That thing looks really awkward without them.
  17. What if you sign him late in the year if the team is flirting with a playoff spot and could use some depth? You save those 10-15 good games for the stretch run. It may not be here, but I could see some team in the league taking this approach. We typically see some of these kind of guys signed right around trade deadline time.
  18. For me, I wouldn't say it's the site. Sports apparel as a whole today just doesn't seem to mesh with my tastes. Maybe royal blue will help, at least when it comes to the Sabres.
  19. And let's face it, a lot of these guys with low ice time but decent scoring numbers aren't usually seeing as much ice time in a defensive role. You give them more of that time and obviously the scoring rate decreases.
  20. I need a new hat, but I saved 100% because I'm not crazy about any of the selection they have on the site.
  21. Which is interesting given that we often see players compared using points per 60 minutes 5-on-5. The most recent one coming to mind was the Kase kid from Anaheim coming up in trade proposals last week.
  22. My statement that I thought the movie kind of sucked is false? Well I guess you know my own thoughts better than I do.
  23. It's espn, isn't it? Anyway, that annual thing is just... strange.
  24. The wingman fired? I never noticed that. Then again, I may block out a lot of details from that movie because I thought it mostly sucked.
  25. He was one bit of stupid writing away from killing his mother though.
