Random thoughts from reading this thread. Isis bad and spend billions killing them but hardly any effort for homegrown extremism? Well of course. Much more difficult to get funds for something that has many voices in the govt. Not a mental health issue he is a TERRORIST/RACIST!!!! Why does he have to be one but not the other? Something was seriously wrong with McViegh and Kaczynski does not make them anyless of a terrorist. Why don't we ever hear about a minority mass murderer? That is one of the stranger things. I know studies have been done and mass murders and serial killers are predominantly white males.... but I have never heard a reason that sounded right The daily show monologue. I know some really hate jon stewart. But his monologue about this kind of summed up my feeling about this. whilest I have seen racism even within some members of my family, I was raised to not judge someone on how they look or the color of their skin. I was taught judge them by what they do and how they treat others. So the fact that this was done out of hate for someones skin color is just something I cannot fully understand nor do I have a desire to. If people want to spread this kind of hate they are not american to me.

unfortantly I don't. It was a year or more ago that I remember reading about it. What I recall was they used eye tracking and a combination pictures on a monitor and one of thous VR firing ranges. The results showed a bias towards younger (under 30) blacks and the media was using it as a branding to condemn police racism. However the study also showed black cops had near the same bias as white cops. Of course that got little play in the media as I recall.

The study that I think is being refered to that showed "racial bias" in cops. Did not realy show that. That study showed that black cops where just as likely to target a black suspect as a white cop. One of the conclusions was that on job history and experience influence the selection. So a cop in a area of high black crime would look there and one in a area of high white crime would look there

To the burning. GRRM has said minor changes have a ripple effect. I believe tonights episode was one of the cases. Kingsblood was needed and other characters have been marginalized or ommitted.
