I think by now, most reasonable people should just agree that future success is not guaranteed, these people my succeed spectacularly or fail spectacularly and just hope for the best. There ain’t no saviors in sports, just keep your fingers crossed.

I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that John Tortorella has changed over the years and is no longer the fire and brimstone guy he used to be.

I found an old article I read years ago about how John changed his coaching style and he was no longer the hard ass yeller that old school sports fans long for. I made a new topic here because his name routinely comes up as someone who needs to come in and whip these players into shape. I have mentioned this here and there, but I never understood how fans keep insinuating, for instance, that players somehow forget how to stay onside in a game they have played and watched their entire lives. These guys know how to play the game.
