  1. Past hour
  2. Deserved penalty. Fine? Sure, whatever. As to the monetary value, does everyone get the maximum fine for everything? Because this isn't egregious or grossly premeditated.
  3. Way worse hit than BB’s as Perry never even touched the puck. The refs arm never went up. God Bless the NHL.
  4. ***youngest team in the league*** What do you expect? I'm going to go hide now...😇 But they are, right?
  5. Any non-mickey-mouse organization would have made a coaching change ages ago. Adams is going to preach consistency, a message that will fall flat. If one were to try to justify bringing them back I suppose you'd focus on areas of improvement? Have there been any bright spots this season? If you listen to Granato he'll tell you our defense is improved, but what does that matter if you've regressed in the standings? If we play around .500 for the rest of the season we'll still end up almost 10 points worse than last year. Is goaltending a bright spot? Anyone with a braincell knew that the 3 goalie rotation was horrible and likely hindered the emergence of UPL. This is more on Adams. The power-play is what doomed this team, and we know we have the talent to be successful. I attribute the poor PP performance directly on the coaching. The only reason from bringing them back is that Granato's extension kicks in next season and Pegula doesn't want to pay another coach to not coach. Again, mickey-mouse.
  6. Whatever. We’ve all seen much worse not even called.
  7. Granato deserves credit for turning the kid forwards (including Skinner) back around after the Krueger debacle. That job is done and so should his be. And his staff isn't an NHL staff, so purge 'em, Sheevyn. Do it. 80% (estimated, I'm not looking it up) of the roster has played for Team Canada, Team USA, Team Sweden, and Team Finland. They know how to play and can adapt to coaches. Granato still doesn't have the team ready in the 1st, encourage any physicality or finishing of checks, work on the refs like I work in Star Wars references, design a powerplay beyond setting up TNT for a one-timer, match lines at home, or know when to take a timeout or make a goalie switch (though it appeared he learned these last two late last season and then forgot this year). And more recently, apparently, his practices are slow-paced and players don't break a sweat when they should be faster, more intense, to prepare the team with playoff expectations.
  8. I'm being a jerk. I've been overruled so many times by people who see something totally out of wack with reality. I just wanted to try it on for size. It was a bad hit.
  9. That Ben Bishop trivia,… good lord. If EEE has forced them to be operating with shackles on, then the very thing that may have doomed DG and KA, might actually save them this off-season. If there has been an internal cap, and it gets lifted, I’m not sure how to feel about that. Either way, it’s a big FU to the fans. Pegula sucks and needs to go.
  10. Ok, so i am old and wear glasses..... Did he really not touch him? I could have swore during the game, they has an angle that showed he did run into him. If i am wrong, then my apologies.
  11. Can zach benson play in rochester when the season is done ?
  12. This didn't age well. Come on now. It's pro sports. Everyone knows how it works. You're hired to be fired. And you make a lot of money to ease the pain of the humiliation. Fans want hope. Changing the regime is fun, good and healthy. Terry should clean house again.
  13. He did hit him..... with the elbow, shoulder, whatever. I liked it.
  14. These players are just happy to get Paid and be with their friends good old country club atmosphere. Adams Created this
  15. Any and all the players that are going to be in Rochester for the playoff run, needs to be there now. Sabres are toast and do not care about winning, so let the kids enjoy real playoff hockey which they will not get with the home club.
  16. What hit? Crookshaw fell down without even being touched. Am I doing this right?
  17. I hate that a lot of the fanbase has been brainwashed. I can almost see a marketing strategy here beyond selling hope for the distant future. Go watch Peterka and Quinn in some of the team's videos.
  18. I am sorry, but if there are not coaching and or assistant changes after this season, i will be following the Avs next year. I am tired of the Buffalo shampoo..... wash rinse repeat. This team has show zero effort in trying to win. Just watching the game last night, the fans were showing as little to no passion as the team was. I get Donny "NO NUTS" is not going anywhere, but they need to flush the assistants and hire a freaking POHO. This team needs accountability as it has absolutely none!!! The best Sabres are the ones that are traded to other teams.
  19. If it’s something that needs addressing, they should pull him out of the lineup now and look to getting healthy for next year.
  20. Why should he? The franchise isn't committed to winning. Buffalo is where you go to cash checks before retirement or to spend some easy time before moving on. Or to polish your game for an NHL career in greener pastures. It says something about Alex's character, but I don't blame him one bit. Why risk it? Why bother?
  21. I’ve seen players try to smash the oppositions face through the glass and get the same fine. I hate this league.
  22. I seriously think it might be as simple as trying a new curve on his stick. Last two years he was one of the best danglers in the league, but right now he's lost it. I also notice that in situations where he used to assertively drive into the zone, he's hesitating or peeling off towards the boards. I suspect he's dealing with an injury that doesn't keep him out of the lineup but hampers his skating.
  23. I know there have been rumblings about how the Sabres are coached not to hit. I know it’s only one hit but I haven’t seen Alex do anything like this in Buffalo.
