  1. Past hour
  2. I would love Brock Nelson on the Sabres. Sure hope those “future considerations” for taking on Boychuk’s salary come in handy.
  3. Are you there yet? I beat you by a few months. Pro tip: don't get a Medicare Advantage plan. Get A & B plus gap and prescription plans. You'll pay more now but but you're better off in the long run.
  4. It has to do with tv scheduling and arena availability. The league wants at least one game on every night, but no more than one east and one west.
  5. Again, your not watching the games. The defense is has not abysmal. The zone possession has favored Syracuse but once in the Amerks zone, the Crunch don't get that many good shooting chances because Rochester has been blanketing them well. What does happen is the Amerks get caught out there in long shifts because Syracuse doesn't let them clear.
  6. Today
  7. As long as there is no clauses that makes trading difficult I am fine with 4milj. not more than that, he is not experienced enough.
  8. Conference finals: Carolina - Florida and Dallas - Edmonton
  9. I find it strange that Canucks and Oilers, who both ended their series before the weekend don't start until Wednesday but Bruins have to play in Florida on Monday. I don't think it really matters as Florida will win that regardless but it seems a little unfair.
  10. Eh, I’m certainly not sad but it doesn’t have much baring since he’s already won a Cup. Perhaps we’ll get lucky and Tavares will get bought out and sign a cheap deal here to be our 3C for a year or two and want vengeance on his hometown team. 🙂
  11. Not quite over my hatred on Eichel for being a traitor but is no longer quite as a burning sensation. As Perrault said though, it’s the 3 straight years of him getting hurt within a week of each other just prior to the deadline only to return for Game 1. The first time they missed the playoffs entirely but seemed to find a trick to it because they’ve repeated twice since. If he’s still in rough shape, don’t play him. If he’s healthy enough to play game 1 and score the opening goal then I think it’s pretty safe to assume he could play Game 82 only 3 days or so prior. I don’t get the whole big mad comment; this is a Sabres forum not somewhere I should feel the need to respect a team that doesn’t just exploit loopholes but likely does unspeakable acts to loopholes. It wouldn’t matter if Eichel weren’t on the Golden Knights; I’d still loathe their abuse of the rules as well as their destruction of traditional team building principles
  12. Good comeback but Rochester D is abysmal, and play very similar to the Sabres. Same type of errors.
  13. For all the Geezers (myself included) here's a little hard truth to ruin your day.
  14. The thing for me is it was 2 years in a row. They got their cup and then the audacity to do it again and so blatantly just made me hate them a lot. I'm over the Eichel hate. If he hadn't won a cup I'd want him never to win one but he already did so like ROR it's over. For me anyway.
  15. He wasn’t very good in the series and was clearly not 100%. Keep being big mad
  16. I'd like us to be a winner too but the Leafs failure is certainly a nice dose of happiness in this trying time. Happy the cap cheaters in Vegas lost. Honestly, I honestly can say I hated what they did this year almost more than Eichel winning the Cup in large part due to how Stone miraculously recovered from it exactly on time. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing he had a lacerated spleen in late February and could play a high contact sport by mid-April with doctor's approval. He had 61 days of recover which while is with the 3-12 week recovery time, about 8 weeks; seems highly suspicious he was magically healed exactly after the LTIR issues were no longer a concern. Either they purposely misled people claiming he was done for the season as was reported by the NHL or they held him out of play multiple to avoid the cap compliance issues. Especially since he did this exact same thing the previous two years. Fans around the league deserve an explanation to Stone's uncanny injuries or the LTIR loophole must be limited or eliminated in its entirety.
  17. I mean it's not like Dallas cheated to win their cup on an illegal goal or anything...
  18. I watch the playoffs bet night and my wife asked me who I am rooting for in round two…and this was my exact conclusion.
  19. $40 or so. The Rochester crowds have been really engaged, so I would highly recommend.
  20. Apparently that’s about it, any sort of actual success would be setting up for disappointment
  21. Turning the big 6-0 in July
