I dont know that what you say is a certainty, but its damn near close... then compound this by once again not making the playoffs and those guys are outta here.. in fact, you can sign Tuch and not make the playoffs and I think they are gonna want to leave..
-
This cannot be driven home any harder. For a roster built on vibes, Tuch is the damn holding back all the water. If he doesn't re-sign we are 100% losing Dahlin and Thompson in short order and then there goes our best 3 players by a country mile.

Bring back Luke Adam for a motivational speech.

So assuming nothing changes, I am down to one ticket. As others have said, anyone is welcome to join us for our pre and post game get together. Details to follow.

I will put you down for two. Do you still have my Venmo information?

Word on prospect challenge rosters? Development camp was weak and we won’t have the college guys. Zeimer and Richard would have been nice to see, as well as Kleber, Osburn, Strbak and McCarthy Doubt Johnson and Kozak play. Rosen might not either, but he still is a 1st contract guy. But if they play all the 3rd year non-NHL guys, the lineup still could be interesting. Wahlberg Östlund Rosen Neuchev Helenius Nadeau Fiddler-Schultz Kuntar Joshua Kopf Savage Costantini Novikov Mrtka Béliveau Komarov Fulp Bedkowski Laberge Brunet Leinonen Ratzlaff Leenders That’s a pretty old prospect team if they do indeed ice all those former college guys. Helenius is the only junior eligible forward. Guys like Joshua (106 pro games) and Kuntar (124) are only 3rd year pros, but they’re definitely men. Be one of the biggest, toughest lineups the Sabres have ever iced at one of these things.

BENSON BADGER DON'T CARE!!!!!!!

Winter classic 2030

It says a lot about the state of college hockey that BU just named two juniors and two sophomores at their captains. Last yeah they had a sophomore captain. They have one senior on the team and he’s a transfer. I’m sure it happened, but I don’t remember any non-senior captains under Jack Parker. We’re deep into the days of one- and two-and-dones.

Was thinking of Benson

Watching it over, I can't help but think Prater adjusted his kick a touch but maybe that's wishful thinking.

Saw this as the play unfolded and thought for sure it would be blocked. Deone Walker should count his blessings. He completely missed his blocking assignment. It was unabated. The Henry/Jackson tandem is unicorn like so not too worried about the D. The play where Rousseau and Bosa are about the crush Jackson, there is exactly one QB who could have escaped. And he did. Those two, plus Oliver and Jones will fare much better against pocket passers than other D linesmen. I still think they could be elite. The safeties…not so much.

Looking forward to it! Just curious... Are there other STH's here that would meet up with us for dinner and/or between periods?

I do get a kick out of the games people say by saying down by 15 with 4 minutes left. I do it too. They started that drive down 15 with 7:16 left (how’s that for an omen?). So this was really a 7 minute comeback, not 4. And I don’t mean to take a thing away from them by saying it. We need to add as much drama as we can to make the stories and memories that much better.

Pretty sure I found the source of that quote: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-shocking-comeback-ends-this-717-game-losing-streak-by-nfl-teams-plus-16-more-wild-stats-from-week-1/ Doesn't say anything about regulation, but I suspect that was meant and somehow got missed in the publication.
-
It was in OT. 15 points to tie. If you include the time spent in OT, it is more than 5 minutes, so perhaps that's the difference (2:25 in OT).

Bag skate them day 1 to show everybody this year it's serious. Send anyone who pukes over to that new trainer. (won't happen but a boy's gotta dream)

Cheers. I have his payment to give you Saturday as well.

According to the Rochester D&C, the stat that @Demoted quoted was SINCE 2017. Since then, teams down by 15+ with 5 or less minutes left were 0-717. And, according to the D&C, so take it for what it's worth, the Bills are the 1st team to ever win when trailing by 15+ with only 4 minutes to go. EDIT: But believe the D&C isn't quite correct, believe the Bills are the only 1 (of 4 or 5) to win in regulation after being down by that much with that little time left to go.
-
The other part of the Bills win is that they had to score 3 times due to that missed conversion. I’m guessing you’re probably right with your suggestion here that these type of wins probably come in OT.

Those teams down by 15 with some random amount of time left were 3 & a couple thousand since IIRC 2000. They're now 4 & a couple thousand and this is the only one of those that ended in regulation. The stat he was trying to quote seems to be this (have no idea who the tweeter is, so take the stat for what it's worth). Will try to find the ESPN stat about being down by that much with so little time left. And the Ravens are now either 11-1 or 10-1 including playoffs when Henry rushes for at least 100 yards. He had 1 playoff game for them with over 100 yards rushing, so believe it is 11-1, but might've given them 1 extra win.
