  1. Past hour
  2. 2 Steps Forward 10 Steps Back. Same old situation with this team. The cycle continues
  3. Yesterday
  4. I’m pretty sure the decision on Tuch has been made already. If Doan, Kesselring, and Benson know what’s good for them they won’t sign. I’m sure they will sign Greenway and Byram. You’re crazy to think Pegula is going to do anything about the GM mid-season. If he was, it would have been done already.
  5. Can't bring up Leone. Appert is right there. He's been prepped as Adam's hand-picked HC for the last 2 seasons.
  6. Adams does not have the competence to make that trade. The Sabres will wind up with another RHD, a 3rd line tweener, and the 29th pick in the draft. And Kev will throw in a 2nd rounder, just to drive us insane.
  7. The irony is that he has the next GM in his organization already. But Terry will still do it wrong and put that GM into a harder position. Terry is the reason I don’t want McDermott and Beane removed. There is just no way he hires the right replacements.
  8. Right you are Coach. KA will ask for more picks & prospects. Working well so far.
  9. Yeah, I mean my actual honest reaction is "who cares?" The franchise, as a whole, does not. I mean for fvkcs' sake ... I just ... ugh.
  10. Life is hard, I wish the sabres weren’t such a mess. Can’t even be mad at them today we’ll be great again one day. I’ll always love them. Even though we suck.
  11. Sabres putting something extra in the Labbats sword beers to numb them and keep them there. Not sure what Sabres are putting into players hydration?
  12. Tuch should leave. He really should tell Adams that he wants to test free agency. Adams will trade him and that’s that.
  13. I will look back to this as the time they were almost in a playoff spot.
  14. Unfortunately that's a dangerous path to take. The season might be lost, but the Tuch decision has to be made before the deadline. Doan, Kesselring, and Benson need new contracts. Dead weight like UPL, Greenway, and Byram needs to be moved. Putting these decisions off until the offseason is not smart, and in Tuch's case not really possible. Seriously, if the Pegula wants to give a new GM the best possible circumstances for success, he's coming up fast on the point of no return.
  15. Sabres seemingly shot into his pads or glove each time. Would have had more shots but we like the back pass when on a breakaway or 10 ft out. So there is that.
  16. Not really. The fans are numb. The expectations are low.
  17. Mostly outside shots although they came in flurries at times. But he gave up ton of fat rebounds but only where the Sabres weren't. A good dose of luck mixed in too
  18. They are all on expiring contracts, until they sign their extensions. Well except Lindy. He is done after this I think. TP & KA put Appert in charge. Appert to learn on the job, just like KA. What could go wrong?
  19. They played with effort today from the puck drop. Just beat by a much better team with a hot goaltender. There were boos. Paying fans who made the trek through the snow were disappointed.
  20. And with zero goals scored they certainly aren’t making up the ground necessary there, either, which is the play if you can’t get ahold of the defensive acumen needed when addressing the roster. They certainly needed to add more talent one way or another, proof pudding
  21. Define clean house. We have a spare GM in the building right now
  22. He played well, but I wouldn't put it in the category of standing on his head or anything.
  23. The Eddie Murphy documentary is worth a watch. Not great but an exclusive with Eddie at his home, in addition to his friends.
  24. Feels like 1 of 3 things happen for every loss 1. Team doesn't show up (Not the case today) 2. Opposing Goalie goes bonkers with saves and pucks refuse to give us any bounces (Certainly today) 3. We are completely outclassed (Not really today) I should of stopped watching after that shot Ostland put through the crease somehow missed 3 legs and a stick because 2 of their goals were significantly aided by unlucky bounces (mind you the 1st one was also a bad play by Byram but the bounce was what screwed Lyon entirely) Just like the Pittsburgh game we had many good shots; drove the net and yet the puck outright refused to give us a break and just take a bounce for us. I'm just really tired of all this; feels like nothing actually matters because no matter what we do it will always end up at the same result. We could field a team of All-Stars and we'd lose half to injury, a quarter to cold streaks and the rest would only see pucks bounce against them 100% of the time.
  25. Which offseason? This next one? Maybe 2030
