Of course it matters lol I am the type that is trying to come up with practical solutions. “Just don’t play with a coach” or “fire everyone, it doesn’t matter” is not the conversation I’m trying to have. Look at my posting history…I’ve wanted the GM gone for a long time. I got it! I’ve figured out Adams plan, he’s getting the 17 game losing streak out of the way early this season, so the players can focus on winning. Reverse psychology. 😉

Does it really matter? If they went with no GM or coach next game and just play the next game without them, Whats the worst that will happen? They lose another game? Only score 1 goal? The problem is your probably not going to turn things around much cleaning house in season because most of the time theres no one really available to step right in and rarely has a team cleaned house of all the coaching staff and front office in season. My biggest surprise so far this season is that people expected any different. The GM went out and did absolutely nothing to the roster to try and improve and like usual decided not to rock the boat and hope all the current guys just get better and add a few backup caliber guys to fill the rest of the roster......

At this point, Tuch is making a good case to trade him. He just looks like like he's going through the motions.

I will never get past my bitterness for that "search." There was a plethora of really good options available and Kevyn did the easiest, laziest hire without putting forth any actual effort to go get any of them. I'm sure it was largely Terry-driven because the big dope thought nostalgia was JUST WHAT WE NEED! But regardless, a good GM could see that was a lazy, uninspired hire and told Terry he could do better. But we have a jellyfish as our GM so here we are...3 games into year two and it looks pretty damn untenable. This organization needs an enema.

The high danger area is right in front of the net according to NHL edge stats. 0 (ZERO) of Alex Tuchs shots this year through 3 games were taken from high danger areas in front of the net. Last year he had 68 taken from right in front of the net, and another 13 taken from the side of the net but very close to it. Tage Thompson, This year he also has 0 (ZERO) shots taken from right in front of the net, where last year he had 41 on the season. Your 2 best scorers are not going to, or at least not getting off shots from the front of the net. As for the team as a whole, those 'high danger' areas right in front of the net...last year they had 520 shots from that area (or 6.34 per game). This year they only have 7 total among the whole team, or 2.33 per game. Last year, 22.83% of the teams shots were from in front of the net. This year, its only 11.86%. I know its only 3 games, but this team is not going to the net, the entire forward group has seemingly turned into perimter players. (also a side not, so far through 3 games they have ZERO speed burts of skating recorded over 22mph...last in the league. Last year they weren't great, but they had 61)

Going to be a dog fight to make the playoffs. This is NE division now. Better coaching and they’ve probably got a better roster already.

That will change in 2 weeks. The front 4 had to survive through the 2 players 6 game suspensions. The problem I see is the secondary, very weak and not just in personnel, but in play calling.
