if Adams is shown the door and is out, and Jarmo takes over, then Jarmo should be free to bring in whatever assistants, advisors, and coaches that he wants. If he is not then he should not even consider the job. If Adams is moved to another position within Hockey Ops, and Jarmo is the GM, then I do not think that very much will change.

No i totally disagree. Your POV may be accurate as far as most are concerned but you are speaking with someone who hasn’t watched a game this season and won’t until KA is fired. For me it makes a huge difference For me it’s about getting my team back. I’m not watching again until he’s fired - that’s simply the fact of the matter. Maybe I’m on an island, but that doesn’t change the situation as far as I am concerned

You wife was seen out at night with a Wookie. -
OK, but no one posts to this thread. You come off as old... everybody's workin' for the weekend went away in the 80s.

Even the potential firing of Adams feels like its being handled in a blundering manner. Rumours days ahead of any activity; the Sabres going on a mini-win streak over the timeframe; Christmas just around the corner, so the new GM will struggle to get their feet under the table quickly; probably too late to really make a difference in the season etc.

There's logic and then there's logic. Logic should have dictated KA not returning as GM. His return suggested he was getting one more kick at the can. Now logic would suggest he is still kicking, barely. But the team, with a couple more wins, would be approaching the outskirts of a playoff points pace, and since ending the losing streak, the points pace has been where it needs to be. It would be a weird time to pull the trigger. Be careful what you wish for. Pulling it now suggests a rearranging of the deck chairs. Removing KA as GM is going to feel good for about 36 hours. LGR is right that a lot more has to change.

Who are the rookies on this roster? Rosen? Kunak? Dunne? Kozak? It feels kind of harsh to target Rosen and Kunak for rookie dinner when they have spent most of the season not in the NHL. Dunne and Kozak have both spent multiple years playing NHL games, so not sure if they will still count? Poor Kuntar may end up losing money to play in the NHL

Just rewatched the third. It wasn’t as bad as it felt last night. Lyon was solid, but certainly not Hasek-like. Unlike others, this game does find me hopeful. It’s the vary type of game the Sabres are famous for losing in the third. Beat the Krackers tomorrow and this road trip will have turned out to be not the disaster I thought it was going to be. -
I am not sure he did it... way too smart... I am wondering if he had his authority taken away and it is Lindy that demanded this. I think if it was Kevyn's choice he would have brought up Levi and made it a 4 some

What a horrible time to get called up... some dude gonna make 50- 100k in the minors gonna get hit up for 2k for a restaurant bill... yikes...

Kuntar played 1 game. I wonder how much of a paycheck he'll have left.

I don’t know who won or lost the Jarry trade. Does it make either team better? Bur what it tells me, in addition to Colorado moving both their goalies last season, is that it’s a lot easier to get a goalie than Sheevyn has made it out to be for the past 6 years.

The handling of the goaltending is not mentioned here but that is #1. Just forget about winning anything, or rebuilding anything, without goaltending.

Fridays rarely mean anything to me as I don't follow a traditional schedule at all. But after my night shift later, I get to make the trek to South Bend to visit my sis for a few days. That should be a nice break away.
