  1. Past hour
  2. If used over the long medium to long term, I think you can get a good idea of a players offensive ability/production by combining (averaging) expected goals with average goals. Their defensive abilty by combining (averaging) expected goals allow with actual on ice goals against.......and their overall play by combing all of those things. I think that works well for the top 3 lines. 4th lines? not so much as situationionally they are often used much differently than the top 3 lines.
  3. There will be such a breath of fresh air on the organization once Adams is gone. But we all know how this will end… https://tenor.com/bzDYD.gif silly links on phones somehow Sheevyn returned.
  4. I am not saying one is better than the other. Just noticing that they are outliers on the money puck analytics expected goals for. Certainly it's better to have a 2 way player vs a one way player but so few players can score 25 goals in the NHL that no matter what else they do they are needed. The average is about 80 players a year score 25 or more and fewer than that can do it on a consistent basis. You can compensate with other players on the ice for the flaws of a high scoring player but it doesn't work the other way around. You can't compensate for lack of scoring in todays NHL. Cozens only scored more than 25 goals once so he is no Peterka or possibly Doan in that department.
  5. I’ve heard from Fairburn that Jarmo is around a lot and that’s good. But it was noteworthy that Jarmo said he wasn’t relocating to Buffalo for his role as Advisor when he was hired. So maybe I’m taking an unfair shot.
  6. “Gotta save for the Peterka and Quinn extensions! Can’t possibly address the roster now, we need to save the space.”
  7. Here we go again.
  8. This is all assuming we have a different GM by that time. We can hope, right?
  9. If he gets Ws today and Sunday, those 2 wins combined with Edmonton cover him for the Monday-Wednesday off days. Then it all comes down to Philly. A win gets him through the off day, then he’s got the islanders. its a back to back, so he can recoup some ground with a win vs the devils the next day, keeping an extra “24 hours” in his back pocket gotta play the game but it can be done
  10. When they first switched, I couldn't stop calling it Audacity, LOL. Still AUD though!
  11. Staal is already #3. Jarmo is already in Buffalo daily. Why be remote if promoted?
  12. he gets an additional 24hrs for each game they win
  13. NFL Redzone had 4 ads when they started this year, now has 16 ads during Redzone.
  14. What changed after the Edmonton win? Are they going to give him more time if he wins again?
  15. Into the firy pit! Is a GM with five years' experience still a novice GM? Asking for a friend.
  16. i'll believe it when it happens, this is all conjecture
  17. Sabres hire Jarmo on May 30 and this account is created officially on July 4th (after the approval process is complete)?
  18. Hahaha. That was our theme song in college... our fraternity had a fire and yes, we were Burning Down the House!
  19. we're talking about Kevyn right?? depends on the GM... situations with a relatively novice GM could certainly benefit from a POHO.
  20. I’m literally about to say drink in celebration, take a nap, and watch a 10pm hockey game
