Yeah I just went with what the settings said the draft time was. Sabre players were in general picked earlier than they should have been so I assumed most were drafting and not on auto draft
-
We both know that Trump pulls the strings on all those puppets.
-
How did Obama deport so many people without sending masked thugs? What is happening now is disgusting and unprecedented in this country.

“At all” and “worst than as a rookie” are both silly hyperbole. You’re better than this. Yes, the contract was overpaying a young player, but let’s not forget he is only age 22 today. The contract was signed to be an underpay when he’s 24-27. You may hate that and that’s fine, but throwing contract value estimates of a 21 year old defensemen is bonkers. Don’t you remember the mess of what Dahlin was at 21? He’s aged pretty well. Sure it’s convenient and appropriate to blame Ralph for stunting Dahlin, but NHL D take time. To act like Power is in his final form at this point in his career is stupid. OP will be fine. I know patience is a dirty word with this organization, but this is a player/contract that deserves exactly that.

He is going to win the Norris Trophy
-
Would be way better than this joker doing it now.

Mmm-Bop!

Nathan Paetsch. I get that he may not be age appropriate for the AHL, but I don’t think running a PP in the WHL serves him best. Controlled minutes in a pro environment might be better for his development than D1 in Juniors. If he cannot handle the physicality or speed of the AHL, he can always be sent back. I like the idea of Radim pushing a level above verses being a big fish in a small WHL pond. To me, the sooner a player can get to a pro league, the better. This way, the Sabres can better control his workouts, nutrition, and minutes. The fact that he’s a European Transfer so the NHL CHL Rules do not apply to him is a convenient loophole. Let him marinate in ROC until he proves he cannot hang.

I don’t know anything about what may have happened tonight, but any stupidity was brought upon by what the Panthers did to Hagel the other night. That was absurd. Maurice and his “The only players we hit are the ones with the puck” must have been lost in translation?
-
PerreaultForever started following Sabres assign Radim Mrtka to Rochester and AI Rick, yay or nay?
-
AI Rob Ray would be pretty easy to do. Just make excuses and talk about the next one.
-
It just shows you teams that care and teams that give you their heart and soul. No Samuelssons on those teams.
-
Didn't say he'd have one. Just the coaches. He'd get all the big minutes and develop presumably. get another look end of the year. I have no desire to rush these guys, even when they show positive signs in preseason. Develop them slowly and fully. Let him get stronger and become a man. All that stuff. But who are you thinking of?
-
AI is going to ruin the planet. Social media got it started, AI is going to dump a tanker of gasoline on it. Hell to the no, RJ will live in our hearts
-
Well Tampa and Florida just would not let it go. Mostly Tampa sending out players with intent to Injure. Not sure how it helps these teams get ready. Ekblad might be hurt. Girgensons went out. Verhage got him self kicked out after he got smashed in the head. Tampa gets crushed and did not win to many fights.

I also supported ICE under Obama. I would have supported ICE under Biden had he used them, but whoever was running that administration chose an open border policy instead, jokes on me for voting for the invalid.
-
The government shut down because congress did not get the sixty votes required to pass the CR. I assumed you knew that. I also assumed you knew the president is not part of congress and does not get a vote.
-
Personally I would think every top prospect pick around the league would be in the AHL right away if it was an option.
-
I find it hilarious that the Trump ICE supporters are crying about violence being met with violence.
-
The implication being you don't have to answer mine either. Wanted to clarify that I don't expect something different. Sometimes there's just no bridging a gap.
-
While I agree with sending him to the A first, I doubt the Sabres would hesitate to send him back to juniors if Rochester proves to be too much too soon.
-
The title of this thread is a f***ing joke. It is Trump who shut the government down. Full stop.
-
On Rochester, he will be surrounded by players who are more experienced than he is. And as @Andrew Amerk noted, that wouldn’t be the case in the lower league.
-
Who would be his “mentor” on the WHL roster?
-
lol you are right, I should know better by now
-
Who is that mentor for the Sabres (Rochester)? I mean I know who is on the roster, but who is a good mentor? The issue for me is simply too much too soon and wearing him down. At his age I personally think big minutes in junior might be better.
