  1. Past hour
  2. Yet the Bandits lacrosse team keeps on winning the traditional Native American game there. 🤔
  3. It goes back to, "why was Ottawa willing to deal a 2C with the playoffs looming"? Simple, they needed someone they could rely on in the playoffs. Can they rely on Cozens? TBD, though he was definitely on the ice for some bad goals against in their series last year. Maybe he can learn (maybe they'll move him to the wing). But at least he was there in the playoffs and durable. Heck, Norris was already injured when they traded him.
  4. The good news is we got him thru 2030 at 8 million a year. Maybe 1 of those 5 seasons he can stay on the ice.
  5. Norris picked the wrong sport to pursue. He’s not tough enough for the rigors of NHL hockey, imo. Adams knew his history. Took a chance on him. Lost.
  6. No, as @pastajoe said it harkens back tot he classic days when they were good. I have said before I'd update it to the Dave Edmunds Love Sculpture electric guitar version (which rocks) but even this version is nice to hear. The team however, does not in any way resemble the classic era teams. This team shows more energy and emotion in their opening line up call than they do on the ice. Exactly, and Rob Ray with his usual post game loser talk "lots of good things in this one" . Man that's a tired and stupid refrain when they lose.
  7. This team needed Norris to be the very best version of himself, and he is quite good when he actually plays, to make a legit run at the playoffs. If he's out long term (spoiler: he will be, if not now...soon), this team is going nowhere. Again. Because our oxygen thief of a gm looked at last year's team and said "oh yeah, let's run it back!" Cleveland Clowns, but it's an exclusive club.
  8. Couldn’t watch it live. Just finished watching the delayed recording. Thought we came out with opening night first game jits against a Ranger team that was past that in their second game. Came out in the 2nd and dominated the period but couldn’t score against a hot goalie. Not many rebound opportunities. Too many shots off the net with no chance of scoring. Reminded me of last season. Liked Krebs fighting for position at the net. Liked Zucker getting physical at the net. Hope to see more of that. PP movement was good. Telegraph their shots from the bottom of the circles. Made it too easy for Shestrrkin. Gave the fans one good period in the 2nd and a glimpse of what to expect this season. Fast dominant hockey.
  9. When your power play gets booed in GAME ONE, you might have been sucking for too long.
  10. Nobody should be in the mood for moral victories. The team has zero credit with the fans.
  11. I thought that Buffalo would be top five worst in the league before the season started. Now with these injuries, I have no doubt on my mind. They will be the worst team by far, it won’t even be close. this team has pushed me so far away that I actually welcome all of the booing that will be going on every single home game.
  12. Just got home from the game….. I think the effort was there, thought Lyon played well……..BUT Offense was non entity……Shesterkin had an easy night This organization continues to drop the ball whenever it’s time to take another step, tonight you had a sellout with fans ready to erupt….IT’S OPENING FREAKING NIGHT AT HOME !!!!! The one night of the season you should come out with your hair on fire and you get shutout 🤣 just 🤣
  13. Today
  14. This is exactly where I am now. You may not be serious about that trade, but I think you have to just get rid of everybody at this point and start over. they will all demand to get out of the city by the end of the year so you might as well just get it over with.
  15. I'm not saying he isn't injury prone....Just no need to post something when you say "literally" and it is exactly not true...thus not 'literally'
  16. The Avalanche just had a lovely set PP play goal to take a 3rd period lead vs. Utah. Makar took the puck below the blue line into the corner and MacKinnon came from across the top of the blue line, looped around and drove into the vacated gap. MacKinnon! Completely forgotten and unmarked because he had basically fallen away to center ice and people were watching Makar and the guys near the net front. Makar made the pass. MacKinnon made the shot from the circle. Not just Thompson standing in the circle waiting. Video scouting should be a thing.
  17. Crap. Ottawa winning the cup this year with a former Sabre. My worst nightmare
  18. It was an easy night for Igor. The only one that almost went in was the tipped one off of the post. Nothing else was even remotely dangerous.
  19. Are we for certain that KBC wasn’t built over burial grounds like highmark was? This just can’t keep happening
  20. 29% FO wins in the O zone is what I just heard. Rangers strength and Sabres weakness. Hard to score when you’re always chasing.
  21. Makes it easier. Who wants to work around all those pesky fans?
  22. Of course he will... what a horrific trade by an incompetent GM whose goal is to lose ... you literally have to try to be this stupid and grossly incompetent. It's impossible for anyone to be this bad at their job
  23. I finally caught up to the end. Had to watch on delay. Sucks they didn't score but I liked the way they played overall. I'll be at the Bruins game.
  24. Sorry my bad he is virtually an iron man! Gary Unger and Craig Ramsay and Cal Ripken got nothing on him cmon man
  25. Fully expect to hear that Norris will be out "long term" with his injury....I'd be shocked to hear otherwise.
