  1. Past hour
  2. FFS I never care about this BS internet exactitude. People always find ways to critique others. Who literally gives a S##T. Doesn't matter what you said. Doesn't matter what I said. Sabres just suck and I blame Pegula above all else. That's ALL that matters. Glad to amuse though. Maybe you got some more here. Carry on.
  3. Or they felt the hospitals in Sweden were better, and of course she likely has family there for her support. I would be pretty surprised if Dahlin was not a return to Sweden guy when he retires.
  4. 😄 No, you said something factually incorrect and have doubled down on it repeatedly, and are now trying to say it's "nitpicking." In the post it was pointed out to you that there had been 3 experienced coaches hired since Pegula took ownership, not merely 1, it was acknowledged that all 3 GMs that Pegula hired had never been NHL GMs prior to getting hired by him (though 2 experienced GMs had been hired in advisory roles; not merely 1). YOU are the one that then continued to insist that Ruff was the only actual experienced coach hired during Pegula's term even going so far as to say that Nolan had no experience "Nolan had never been a head coach but I don't count that debacle." You forgot Goober and you forgot Patrick. "Jarmo is the first NHL experienced hire they have made in the Pegula era." And somehow you also either forgot Nolan's 1st stint in Buffalo or his 2nd. It's not a big deal. But it is humorous at this point.
  5. GOOD EVENING CHILDREN OF THE ⚔️. Latenight ‘okey children. Mammoth Whiners LFG! Get another point!
  6. Can’t travel for minimum 1 year after a transplant.
  7. His fiance is in Sweden? Woulda thought she'd be in Buffalo with him... that is, unless her medical condition precluded here from travelling after the heart transplant.
  8. I mean... here's 6ppl suggesting he's not coming back in various degrees of seriousness.
  9. I like the cut of your jib.
  10. Go Sabres. Get that first road win
  11. Whatever. The crux of the issue is Pegula has for the most part hired inexperienced people to run this franchise. Nitpicking. I'm basically going tank forward and they made Nolan a sacrificial lamb for the tank.
  12. The NCAA thing is very valid. This is why McKenna is not exactly tearing it up this year as well.
  13. I know, but you wait. Once Adams has a presser he will use injuries as the excuse. It'll be a veiled we can't blame injuries but............. sort of thing.
  14. What the ever lovin' F is this???
  15. Today
  16. Well, he has certainly looked distracted at times this season. More than I remember him being in the past anyway. Perhaps I’m seeing things and unfairly projecting this baggage onto him.
  17. Those three points are a screaming indictment of Joe Brady and our offensive quality control coach and their inability to self scout worth a damn.
  18. I remember reading a scouting report on McConkey that said he lined up as an outside receiver nearly 80% of the time while playing for Georgia. I think there were two factors in him being projected as a slot in the NFL: his stature not being ideal for a boundary receiver at the next level and his off the charts quickness and route running that lends itself so much better to the slot.
  19. He was fine earlier this year. He was stellar in other years. My benchmark isn't Dahlin himself; it is the average NHL D-man.
  20. Do you mean continue as he always has been in previous years? Or continue to be what he was early this year. Because early this year, he wasn't 'fine', he was pretty bad at times: -This year one goal in 14 games, where he usually scores a goal at a rate of one every 4-5 games - a -11 through 14 games ( a 'pace' of about -60) The last 3 years, he was a +20 combined over 3 seasons. -5.43 giveaways per 60, when he normally averages about 2 giveaways per 60. -about 30% less takeaways per 60 than his average over the last 3 seasons -My 2 favorite analytics are expected goals for vs against, and actual goals for vs against. His xgf%is down 3 points. His actual goals is down almost 15% -And as many have pointed out on this forum, he is making several bad plays, noticable via the 'eye test' every game. You want him to be who he is, and he is more talented than anyone else on defense on this team, but his overall play/production, so far this year, actually has been pretty bad.
  21. Huge risk for Sabres as there’s little reason for Tuch to extend before going to free agency. Would have to be a (perceived) massive overpay or a complete reorg that he’d feel could make us competitive. Regardless, if he was my kid I’d strongly advise him to hold off until mid July.
  22. My bet is that his performance will continue to be fine. Not peak Dahlin, but just fine.
  23. Yesterday
  24. This is the most probable outcome and I don’t think it bodes well for Dahlin’s performance if he’s on that kind of emotional yo-yo all season.
  25. Yeah, he may be my favorite Sabre right now. Unless it’s what he really wants, if they trade him for garbage, I’m done with this team.
