The offseason so far - Are the Sabres better?
GASabresIUFAN replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
All this is moot unless the goaltending plays well and guys like Norris, Samuelsson, Quinn and Greenway stay healthy and contribute. It couldn't hurt if Kesselring can move up from a 3rd pairing D to a full time 2nd pairing D who has chemistry with Power, plus Benson and Kulich step up to replace the lost goals from JJP. I'm sure all this happen. I might also win the lottery. -
Sabres sign Forward Jake Leschyshyn to a one year two way contract

Terrible, I wouldn’t want either of them on my AHL team, maybe echl team. I would rather have better players then these two! -
Yer not from around here, are you?

for me - it is far more of a first-world NFL problem. I am actually nervous about the Bills living up to expectations, so watching the games is WAY more gut-wrenching. Back in the days when the Bills were Cheatriots punching bag ... hang out with friends at a Bills bar, eat wings, drink beer, cheer/cry. During the Kelly days - I was still in middle school / high school so I dealt with stress better, lol. I did stay home from school the day after "wide right". But I think half the school did.

If you come down for a game in Raleigh, I won’t be there.

So, just below average? I know we’ve all learned to hate on the guy based at least on eye test. I wonder if deeper stats support just below average? I really hate that I fell hard for this guy based on his rookie season and he seems to have plateaued or even regressed since then. -

Possibly could it be that this franchise hasn’t made the playoffs in 14 years? Instead of doing a house cleaning of the front office they fire a strength & conditioning coach. They trade away our 2nd leading goal scorer/3rd leading point producer in Peterka and replace him with somebody on the roster who hasn’t put up those numbers. Oh and we had a huge problem with defense and goaltending so we got 1 defensemen and another backup goalie so now we have 2 backup goalies about to start the season. I think at this point you shouldn’t be asking people to why we care about trades and preseason but why do we care about this team at all? -
A bloody Constable just had my auto car towed for parking near a Johnny plug. My wife kicked the Constable in the trousers 👖, now she might go to the old gaol .. Horrible

The model the piece is based on ranks Samuelsson in the 46th percentile defensively -

I think the better question is why people get so irrationally upset about a Rochester signing. Edit: And a Rochester signing 16 days into free agency. -
This conversation annoyed me. Wife: Eliza fell out of her crib this morning. Mother-in-law: How did she do that? Wife: She climbed out. Mother-in-law: Obviously. You asked the stupid question. You don't get to respond with attitude (trust me, it was there) when you get the blatantly obvious answer.

It’s because the bank doesn’t design or engineer ATMs. We buy them from a company like Diebold. Your beef would be the same with another bank or credit union. 😀 This made me chuckle out loud because I forgot about that slogan. M&T has been “understanding what’s important” for a very long time now. Source: Me, I work there.

I'm the same. I have mentioned it before, but growing up I was a bigger Bills fan. From the time I was about 10 years old I had season tickets (with my father) and then when I got to my teens I started going with friends until I was in my middle-to-late 20's. Never missed a Bills game. Hardly ever missed ANY NFL game on tv. Played the video games, knew the roster, watched the draft, etc. I'm not sure why, but right about the the time the Bills drafted Allen, my love for the Bills and the NFL started going down. No particular reason, no 'political stand' or anything like that. But I'm at the point with the NFL, and the Bills, that I just don't care anymore. Last year I hardly watched any games (maybe 2-3 full games and parts of 2-3 more games), and this year, I doubt I'll even watch any unless I am home and have absolutely zero to do.

Same problem though? After you complete one transaction, does it ask if you have another, or do you have to tap and enter code again?

I'm just hanging out here so that I can hold Inkies beer once he sees this post.

That's the part I've been wondering about the whole time. It's not a CBA issue, it's a transfer agreement issue.

That's a fun translation.

So, would anyone trade McLeod for Mittelstadt right now? I would not! Go Sabres!!!
-
I still want Voronkov, maybe a deal around Voronkov and Severson? Perhaps he would waive to come play for Lindy again.

I'm not even sure I've seen an ATM that holds the card for a long time now. All of the bank of americas here have use the tap now. I'm pretty sure that if you do insert the card, it spits it back out right away. And there's no possible way inkman can twist that last sentence into some sort of innuendo.
