  1. Past hour
  2. LOL indeed... now for myself I typically agree with him... and I am not prone to foolishness... just dont ask my wife 🙂
  3. What do politics have to do with whether or not JJ Peterka wants to be a sabre?
  4. It should also be noted that when Golisano sold the franchise to TP there was a no move clause agreed to by the new owner if/when he decided to sell.
  5. So the difference this year is that Florida will be the road team to start the finals and they’ll be more rested. But like the previous poster said, their road record is great. They’ll smash the oilers Also, imagine playing in 3 straight Stanley cup finals. That’s over 100 games every year. Shows you how physical they are. They will wear you down before they get a chance to be worn out
  6. I've thought on it. I'd rather spend assets on a different player that brings the same jam but has a few more qualities to their game.
  7. Something to consider:
  8. Today
  9. Over the last three years Florida is 23-10 in road playoff games.
  10. I'm simply looking at what each did with full bodies of work over the course of a full season. 15-20 game seasons mean very little to me, personally.
  11. Well okay, we disagree on the value of the veterans they have.
  12. I’m very excited for a rematch of last year’s finals. I wonder how big a loss Hyman is going to be in that match up.
  13. I like Aitcheson, don't get me wrong and agree with you he's something we've not done well getting. If I have to pick between him and Mrtka, I probably lean Aitcheson. We've needed more jam for years.
  14. The AHL roster literally is a mix. It has to be by rule. That's my point. Also how would Helenius or Wahlberg or Novikov being in another league help anything? They're in Rochester to learn the pro NA game. They all had varying levels of success there this season. The AHL isn't like the NHL. The NHL is about 1 thing, the Stanley Cup. The AHL is about multiple things from development to yes, winning a championship. Still, the main point of the AHL is going on to win a Stanley Cup and I actually feel they have a decent veteran mix in Rochester, Laval got better gt and was the better team. Hopefully next year Rochester will improve.
  15. Here let me clear up my stance. The Buffalo Sabres need to find more players with grit and skill combos, that preferably have size. On defense, they need 2-3 new defenders and none should be under 6'1" and they all need an attitude issue. We need more guys with high motors, who don't take ***** and yes, preferably most are 6'3" 210lbs. The Sabres need a pack mentality on the ice, not their soft nonsense response to physicality which dates back to Lucic running Miller. The Sabres simply don't have enough mean skill players. Adams however falls into a psychological trap where he's drawn to personality traits that either mirror his own or he admires. It's why silly Samuelsson and good guy Bryson are still here.
  16. If you haven't noticed, I've been saying there are too many prospects who are relatively the same for quite some time and have said repeatedly Adams needs to trade some for NHL roster players to create a balanced roster. There should be a veteran young player mix on both teams as well as some prospects in Europe and junior. They need leadership and have to be taught how to be pros. I've been consistent on this since day 1. My point in this discussion is that Karmanos is a name and hasn't actually done anything special in Buffalo. I do not see any evidence that he is a GM solution any more than Adams was.
  17. 😆 🤣 that's a funny turn of phrase. I didn't realize that's what is going on, just thought it was Diggs on a boat with multiple ladies.
  18. I can only tell you that I am not crossing for any reason and I know many people that feel the same way. This article might give you a general sense of how people feel https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/bellingham-bc-travel-letter?utm_source=DH-Vancouver-Buzz&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=ZOOMER250528004_20250528&oly_enc_id=7232I5726301E8L
  19. Helenius would need to ramp up his motor but yes, impo at least.
  20. How the *****, is he supposed to build a roster with more vets when you just ***** said he has a wealth of top draft picks? What do you want? A veteran AHL team or a development AHL team? Also they finished in like 4th in the AHL so how isn't that a winning roster? Especially since everyone but Kulich will be back in Rochester? You're a walking contradiction here. "His team was only good cuz draft picks, but also he shouldn't have found space for them cuz AHL vets, but also they weren't good"
  21. I've explained my position. You're either deliberately using a strawman of your own, ignoring what I've said, cherry picking, or can't comprehend my point. Idk which and idc anymore. I've repeatedly for years talked about how the Sabres need more grit and more heart. Miles and miles of heart. You're gonna be wrong about Zach Benson. I didn't even want to draft Owen Power. I hate Mattias Samuelsson's game. The last part to me is the most amusing because we literally have Rasmus Dahlin and ik his rep on this board is fancy puck carrier but he's as skilled as both players you list and has a mean side. But what, because he's 6'3" instead of 6'6" or 6'8" that's not good enough?
  22. Is it fair to say Rossi today is pretty much what we hope Konsta Helenius will be in 4 or 5 years? A little more solidly built, but similar game and skillset?
  23. Barkov is a beast. So strong. There is no one on the Sabres who is close to having the strength, skill, and skating ability to be able to make that play.
  24. He is a really good player. So many underrated
  25. I'm going to guess nobody with any dignity will work under Kevyn Adams. Not 1 single firing after 5 years of failure... Oh my bad we got a new strength and conditioning coach.
