Dave won't lest his son play here?

Luke Osburn is probably our best LHD prospect and might be our best D prospect outside of Mrtka. I think he makes team USA.

https://thehockeywriters.com/philadelphia-flyers-should-set-sights-on-viggo-bjorck-not-gavin-mckenna-for-2026-nhl-draft/ Viggo Björck the center out of Sweden. He's good but he's short at only 5'9" so his true combine number will be important come June.

Just checking in here in Mid July to see if Pegula has sold the Sabres yet…

New CBA Provision Regarding CHL-AHL Eligibility Rules
Mango replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
The resources at the NCAA level are much higher than juniors. Let juniors be actual juniors and let kids develop in college like every other sport. A strong NCAA hockey league is much better for the NHL than a junior league. I'm a big proponent of taking this a step further. If a player is too young to play in the AHL, they're too young to be drafted. The only reason it's a thing is to protect the juniors leagues revenue. -
Sounds like Luke Osburn’s year caught the attention of USAHockey. He’s been invited to the Summer Showcase this summer, which s generally camp for the WJC team. Zeimer and Kleber, who made the team last year, will also be there.

Well at least the product can’t get any worse, right? I’d imagine the whole process was a lot easier for the teams, but now they need to fix things on the tv side.

New CBA Provision Regarding CHL-AHL Eligibility Rules

I can’t wait for the fun time when someone has two high end CHL guys and then need to pick which one goes to the AHL. Situations like the islanders having 3 first round picks come to mind. They won’t have to worry about it, it in the future it may influence how teams make those picks. -
if we do it will be “sell up and move home” time in sabre land. Our arena only holds 3500!

I wonder why there is no American team named the clan…
-
A lot to like about McTavish... really solid size, offensive upside... I would consider this a win I think if we could get him...
-
Glad to see Cliff doing so well... wonder if the Glasgow team will out sell the Sabres in tickets this year... lol... Stay tuned...

….has signed for Sheffield Steelers in the UKs EIHL for this season. in other EIHL news, Glasgow Clan are assembling a strong looking team to build on reaching playoffs last season. Clan have also sold record levels of season tickets for the upcoming season. Demand so high they have to release extra from general admission.

New CBA Provision Regarding CHL-AHL Eligibility Rules

This is great news! Now everyone, hear me out. I've got an idea... First, we start simple...we go back in time. Then, we let Benson play in the minors one more year knowing we can get him to Rochester the following year. Then...we bring him up this year...and he's ready for his first taste of NHL action and competes for rookie of the year. I think this can work. -
Oh definitely.

The S & P reaching another record high is a distraction? I don't think they S & P works that way. Giving i bought the dip, I hope there's many distractions for years to come. I would want that no matter who was in office. It's a good thing.

Trying to distract the people from real problems.

Um. A what ?

My guess would be Adams never even thought of trying to do this. I'd say you can forget about Robertson. He isn't going anywhere.

Sabres sign Ryan McLeod to a 4 year extension
PerreaultForever replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Okay that's more reasonable. I can't say I remember what everybody said about Casey and I've never been a fan myself as I do think he's lazy but I do think it's easier to find a McLeod than it is a 50 plus point offensive forward to add to your roster. Right now we have a hole where Peterka was and if we do not fill that hole that hole will be part of the reason for next year's failure. Realistically, if we were good enough to possibly make the playoffs there'd be no discussion. McLeod would be our 3C.
