I noticed on a major betting site the Sabres have climbed to 87.5 points for an over under. I was thinking we might get a bump from an expected tail off from Florida. On the other hand we have also climbed over CBJ, Detroit, and Philly.

This is the least interested I have been about a season starting. Apathy has set in.

I wasn’t impressed. He made a boneheaded play that hung Power out to dry on the shorty we gave up. He is now in my goalie doghouse as a result. That said, he didn’t get much help the rest of the way and he did make a few nice saves. Perhaps I won’t put him in the doghouse after all. But he is definitely chained to a post right outside.

Haven’t been to the stadium in a while, but I will be going to the Jest game at the end of the regular season. We had season tickets in ‘73 and I attended the first game ever against the Redskins (thanks, Herb Mul-Key) and of course the first regular season game vs. the Jets (thanks, John Leypoldt) and it will be a fitting and great bookend for my Rich Stadium experience by ending it against the Jets.
