Peters says Levi has asked to be moved
PerreaultForever replied to Two or less's topic in The Aud Club
It's probably internet bs but if true get him out of here. The second sentence most definitely. The mantra should be if you earn it you earn it. When they sent Dunne back I felt they were not living up to the best player earns it idea since he outplayed several people in preseason but they have given him a shot now at least. Has to hold for all players. Be the best and you get your shot. Beat out a guy who is here to stay here. -
Peters says Levi has asked to be moved

Lyon backed up by Ellis in Buffalo UPL and Georgiev in Rochester. (If UPL is claimed, all the better, cap money to spend on a top 6 forward added to the other cap money they have) -

I'm not waiving Ellis, I'm waiving UPL. Levi? I don't care. If he doesn't want to be here F him. It's time to stop worrying about players feelings and make it just about winning. Well then you just leave him in Rochester. Too bad for him. -
When you continually post worse numbers every chance you are given and last year posted complete trash numbers of .878 and 4.12, you have nobody to blame but yourself. He has every chance to take the job...actually perform when given the opportunity instead of puking all over yourself.

Folks, @spndnchz is NOT WATCHING the baseball this year.
-
He had no desire to possess the puck in the NHL. He filled gaps but he didn’t add a thing. Still young and needs to keep working at it.
-
Just more internet garbage. Levi has nothing to say about anything. He can work his way up from #4 whenever he chooses to do so.
-
Vladdy has EIGHT home runs lmao

I don't care how much O Muel contributes, this will always be my favorite interview moment (to about 2:10).
-
He's held his own but really hasn't shown he belongs even in a middle six role to this point. I think he might be solid middles six when he's ready but he's just not ready yet.
-
Ah, but UPL with his salary probably would clear waivers. Just sayin'.
-
Great effort! They're firing on all cylinders even without a healthy Bo and Springer out of the lineup. Their biggest weak point all year was the bullpen, but adding Bassitt and Lauer to the mix has been huge. Varland and Hoffman rounding into form has helped a lot too.

This is the way. I really think one of our 5-headed goalie monster is destined to be part of a trade. My gut feel is that they want to give UPL some visibility not to so much show what he's capable of, but to demonstrate to a potential suitor that he has recovered from his injury. He's played well in stretches and might be worth taking on (if the Sabres retain) to see if a change of scenery unleashes his potential. Another scenario is to work him back in as a back up and if he pulls his weight then trade young Ellis. But either way, I can see Levi being disgruntled. It isn't just that UPL is ahead of him in the pecking order, it's that the organization brought in two more goalies and he is definitely behind Lyon at this point, and likely behind Ellis in terms of depth. I know they can't move Ellis to the AHL without clearing waivers so it might be that in the overall scheme of things Levi is ahead of Ellis in terms of what the Sabres feel about him but due to contracts he's stuck in the A.

That was fantastic to see the Jays take two of three in Chavez Ravine. What poetic justice it would be to see them chase Yamamoto and wrap it up in Toronto in game six.
-
I'm enjoying the fact that they're competitive. They've been in every game. They've had better starts at home, and their home record is much better since Jan 1st. PK is 1st in the league and the PP doesn't stink. Lyon is playing well in goal. Taking steps in the right direction, the points will come if they continue to focus on the details. I wouldn't say "they're for real" yet, but I'm encouraged.

Congrats on the first post Peters

Career touchdowns: Worthy: 7 in 23GP Coleman: 6 in 20GP 🤷♂️

Maybe give him the first batter of the 8th, he's in a zone and Jays pen kinda blows.
-
Nope. Don’t care
-
I love Yesavage, how could one not, but Schneider will be making another mistake if he leaves Trey in for the 8th and 9th.

Dodger all star team losing to a pitcher making $800k
-
Yeah I'm aware. On the plus side, the Jays are killing it tonight.

Jays hammering the Dodgers again...

Love to see LA lose at home tonight
