Kesselring and UPL are week to week with their injuries
ponokasabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
This is really too bad, hopefully the week off for Kesserling is good for him upl I think we all sorta came to the conclusion he would miss a bit of time when Georgiev was sidelined Byeam Power Benson Greenway all good to go is awesome but Kesserling man that hurts, he was the off season acquisition, need him healthy asap -

Well there's the major issue here. Nothing happens to you until it does. It's realistically about probability versus possibility. Fear and paranoia are subjective and it becomes difficult to judge others for the levels they go to. We are products of our experiences. I've been robbed while working a job. I had a shotgun put up to my chest so I could feel the barrel. I didn't "plan" for that and I still don't. I don't walk around expecting it to happen. It's highly improbable. Now, if I were in certain areas I would be more aware. Similarly I would be less concerned in other areas. It's because it's less probable. Your take on locking doors is your opinion. It is an easy thing to do, certainly. But some people would tell you that if they felt they had to lock their doors then it would change the way they feel about where they live. If they feel that way, then they don't want to be there any longer. It's not so cut and dry. What precautions should the people at this bar have taken? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nigel-edge-north-carolina-bar-shooting-suspect-marine-veteran/ -
Do you find it odd that you are the only one in this forum who makes these wild allegations towards others? These are the types of things unhinged people say. I've mentioned this about you before. You engage in the same behaviors that you often call out about others. It's concerning really. You are also one who just posts YouTube videos.. so calling out someone for posting Tweets is an interesting behavior. This was not the kind of conversation I was suggesting in here. Instead of a conversation you decided to attack another poster. Is it about changing his mind or speaking your piece? That said, I'm not in favor of giving anyone free healthcare. I'm barely interested in paying for kid right now who seems to have adopted McDonald's as his go to. And that's exactly why I am not in favor of it. Funding other people's bad habits is not an interest of mine. I want people to have access to healthcare, 100%. But our culture is one that doesn't take into account personal responsibility. So, we end up funding healthcare for people who continually make bad choices. Is it racism? I don't think healthcare for illegals is a racist discussion. I think it's about asking why we would pay the healthcare for someone who is not a citizen of the country. I wouldn't expect Spain to pay for my healthcare. ICE was formed in 2003 as a result of the Homeland Security Act. We all know what precipitated that act and it was very much not a one party situation that voted for it. You can't put ICE on this administration. Certainly you can talk about how ICE performs its function in today's administration but it's been around for some time now.

So, providing no new injuries tonight, it looks like the opening night roster would have everyone in it except Kesserling and UPL. The new guy acquired to stabilize the blue-line and the guy who plays probably the single most important position in the sport missing isn't good, but at least it seems to look good for everyone else. -

Metsa called up for the game tonight -
The expectation is the next goalie up will suffice.

Over/Under on the number of players who get injuries that put them out week to week? -
I agree, but healthcare for illegals is a BS issue. It’s based solely on racism. The amount of money is a drop in the bucket. The amount of money spent on ICE is embarrassing and wasn’t there until a couple of months ago. It just shows that this administration cares more about hate and division than just about anything else. I wouldn’t read anything into that. I’ve only been here for ten minutes and I’m done. The cult of Trump wins again.

Not sure if it will be blacked out in Buffalo, but the game will be on NHL Network. -
Example - lets say a player like Jordan Greenway plays like poop and is out of shape during the preseason. Then you have a player like Neuchev who looks good and is in shape and playing well. Who do you keep? The poopy guy or the one playing well?

Well the Elite D group just took another hit. Kesselring is out week to week with his injury. Projected D group pre-season Dahlin Byram Power Kesselring Samuelsson Timmins We are literally down 50% of the projected starters on D as Byram returns tonight. Tonight's D with Dahlin resting Byram Johnson Bryson Timmins Komarov Mrtka with Lyon and Georgiev in goal as UPL is also out week to week. Correction: Mrtka is ill and Mesta will be playing in his place.

As far as moving him, absolutely not! He might not fit the preferred profile from a stylistic sense but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be a core player for us. If he was out on the market, teams would be lining up to get him. I just don’t understand the hostility to him. (I’m not saying that you fall in that category.)

Quinn might fit the Peterka role perfectly, in that he’ll offer the same perimeter play and lack of defensive zone commitment at the position. -
Taxes don’t cover all of our expenses. Not saying healthcare for illegals is the whole cause for the national debt but reallocating ICE’s budget is not the answer. There’s a lot of people crying about healthcare for illegals but I don’t see anyone being as vocal about the garbage VA. After 20 plus years and counting of war, a lot of vets get dog $hit VA support but yeah let’s cry about the people who crossed into the U.S. illegally. How about we reallocate every penny that previously supported healthcare for illegals to better healthcare for those who took the fight to Al Queda, Taliban, ISIS, and their proxy groups so that those unwilling to do so didn’t have to.

Interesting. Using this one for a look at radically different forward lines. Minor thing that shouldn’t affect opening night, according to Ruff -
