People like to scream MAGA!!!! Trump has his base, but it's not big enough to swing the election. On November 5th did every swing state not have more registered democrats than Republicans? Enough of them either voted for Trump or didn't care enough to vote at all, that's the uncomfortable truth.

Why are Republicans hell bent on fascism? I asked a simple question. Calling what was happening in LA "riots" is disinformation. Under that pretense, Trump can deploy the US Military anywhere on US soil for anything.

Protest? No. Riots? Only when local law enforcement refuses to. I'm guessing Trump's decision in LA was influenced by the democratic leadership in Portland allowing antifa to riot for, what was it, over three months straight? Does anything Trump does surprise you? Me neither. So why were democrats stupid enough to put him into office a second time?

Good question. Pretty sure that tradition goes back to Ted Darling having the opportunity to either be a Channel 7 (IIRC) or a Sabre employee when they got the broadcast contract. He decided to stay with the Sabres so that should Channel 2 get the contract back (or it go to 4 or even 29) he'd still be the voice of the Sabres rather than switching to local sports or Dave Thomas' replacement.

Do you support deploying armed US military personnel for domestic law enforcement operations? Do you support deploying armed US military personnel to put down protests that are in opposition to the POTUS?

If it was just draft picks, I would be open to do so. I agree with those who say a first round pick would be too costly, but for a lower pick I would be receptive to such a deal. The main consideration is whether adding him improves this roster? I would say yes.
