mjd1001 Posted 40 minutes ago Report Posted 40 minutes ago UPL played well. I still don't trust him yet. 3 1 Quote
Big Guava Posted 40 minutes ago Report Posted 40 minutes ago This team totally makes sense... Beat the Canes and Oilers by a combined 9-2 and lose to the Flames and Blues by a combined 9-2. 1 2 Quote
Sabres73 Posted 39 minutes ago Report Posted 39 minutes ago That's a win. Could this be the turning point for the season, winning two in a row, and against arguably the best team in the NHL? As has been for years, their biggest nemesis now is consistency, maintaining this over an extended stretch, with good goaltending. Games like the last two make us look like we can beat anyone right now. Oh no! UPL is good now - now what do we do? lol 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted 38 minutes ago Report Posted 38 minutes ago 3-1 home-stand. They lose the alleged easy game. Weeksie giving the Sabres some props. UPL came up big. Really good game by the Quinn-McLoed-Zucker line tonight. Team effort and well done. 2 Quote
Believer Posted 38 minutes ago Report Posted 38 minutes ago Outstanding performance by all involved. Congrats Sabres! 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 37 minutes ago Report Posted 37 minutes ago Big game Wed against Pittsburgh. For me personally, growing up I always looked forward to any games the day before Thanksgiving or the games on New years eve. The Wed before Thanksgiving, it was a long weekend from school (now sometimes a long-ish weekend from work), that a win that night just 'feels' better than most other nights. 1 1 1 Quote

Just texted my brother about that...really excited for Wednesday's game with a streak on the line. 1 Quote

HumanSlinky39 Posted 31 minutes ago Report Posted 31 minutes ago 4-1 win just like everyone expected. Nice win, keep it going. On to the next one. Quote
Slack_in_MA Posted 31 minutes ago Report Posted 31 minutes ago Credit where it’s due. UPL played well today. Quote
Pimlach Posted 31 minutes ago Report Posted 31 minutes ago Why does Benson not get an assist on Tage goal? I’ll have to check replays Quote

Often times on the official scoresheet and NHL.com, they list goals as 'unassisted' for a few minutes before adding the assists. Its like they want to get the goal scorer up as soon as possible, and iron out the details a few minutes later. Quote
HILLsabre Posted 26 minutes ago Report Posted 26 minutes ago Of course... the game that I couldn't see. Oh well, if they get embarrassed by Pittsburgh blame me ...I'll be watching! Keep the streak alive... 1 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted 17 minutes ago Report Posted 17 minutes ago (edited) That this how the Sabres should play every game. I really like Timmins. He reminds me every game recently of Toni Lydman (fixed). Edited 2 minutes ago by GASabresIUFAN Quote

K-9 Posted 16 minutes ago Report Posted 16 minutes ago So nice to have Benson back in the lineup. Doesn’t matter who he plays with or in what situations, he plays the game the right way and finds ways to contribute. I think his energy is infectious, too. Quote
mjd1001 Posted 15 minutes ago Report Posted 15 minutes ago Overall good game, but by far the worst line was Tuch/Thompson/Doan for most of the game. Even strength they had 2 scoring chance for, 7 allowed. Their shots for/against, Fenwick, Corsi, Expected goals for/against....all were awful. McLeod, Zucker, Quinn by far the best line of the night in terms of analytics. Dahlin has the best analytics of all D-men on the game. https://www.naturalstattrick.com/game.php?season=20252026&game=20347&view=limited 1 Quote
