Beane does not seem like a yes man like Adams. Why does Terry accept that from him but doesn't want someone with more power for the Sabres? I love the Bills but actually enjoyed the Sabres run in the mid 2000s much more than the current Bills' run Maybe because McBeane proved themselves to be worthy of little to no supervision. And Beane is always willing to let Terry hang out at and play with the cool football team. On top of all that Terry and Kim mixed in well with the NFL owners and NFL elite, but that is not how the NHL works. Quote

Terry messed with all of our heads crying to Gilbert at his opening presser. He bought the Bills and bought himself enough cache to the city. HumanSlinky39 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago This isn't a serious hockey organization. Kev will be back because they'll blame another wasted year on injuries and the Dahlin situation. The only change I can maybe see is if Lindy retires and they promote Appert. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Quote

Appert already acts like he’s the HC behind the bench. Maybe Lindy should decide to spare himself the post game presser Q&A heartburn and just have GMKA’s hand picked HC-in-waiting take the questions instead. Quote

I will admit that the state of the Sabres over last 1 1/2 DECADES doesn’t help, but 6 years?! He is NOT a knowledgeable GM, has hit on a few trades, and lost on many. I struggle w Pegs (what does Kevyn have on him!?) keeping this ineptitude in his organization. Bills thrive vs Sabres. What am I missing? WHAT SAY YOU !? I was done with Kevyn before he accepted the position 😋 Quote

Other than palm trees and taxes, and weather probably? We are not a good team. But this is what I don't get. Everyone here cheers when the team fails. We root for players to leave. Who said Dahlin is going to give an ultimatum when he gets back? You all deny it, but your posts say otherwise. You say you want the team to be good but you cheer for everything that goes wrong. We are Buffalo Sabres fans. We are dismayingly loyal to the team despite 13 seasons of no post season play. We bitch and moan because we are committed . Pegula’s indifference and his dismaying loyalty to Adams, a GM who has failed to roster a team to qualify for the playoffs after five seasons at the helm, and likely will fail again this season, tests our loyalty. Yet, we persevere precisely because we are Sabres fans. If You want to pick on anybody, pick on the indifferent owner and the incompetent GM. Quote

It's Beane who built the O line. It's Beane who drafted Cook, Kincaid, Shakir, Brown, Torrence, Hawes, Benford, Bernard, Rousseau, Bishop, Walker, Hairston among others. It's Beane who signed Bosa this season and added quality players like Ty Johnson, Shaq Thompson, and others over the years. Has he made mistakes? Sure, which GM hasn't, but Beane is an excellent GM who continues to keep this team on top. Edited 29 minutes ago by GASabresIUFAN Quote

So we are giving up the season already? Beating the Christmas rush? I’m not giving up on the season but I don’t have to back down from my line of “Adams gets 5 years” once year 6 starts lmao Quote
