I hope they’re trying to shop him (UPL).  No offense, but I’d rather see more of what Ellis can do first….I just don’t know if they’ll give him a chance to play again.

Have to play timid in the offensive zone because you're worried about an odd man rush coming back. He has proven he can't make that type of stop

Yeah, I think they're showcasing him but it's backfiring.  Who would trade for that?

You’ve answered your own question. The Sabres are not really a potential playoff team. They lose these games fairly routinely unfortunately.

It’s just a weird thought because UPL was the reason we won the last game he played. Maybe they all just know how inconsistent he is. Well, they definitely know, but it would be odd that they don’t have confidence in him after his last performance.

Between this year and last year, this will likely be the 28th game where he had a save% under .900. Almost half of his games.  And some of those games are in the low .800s and .700s.  

You can't win with a goalie that half of his starts (or more) he allows more than 10% of the shots to be goals. (and lets i a LOT of easy goals where sees the shot, is set, facing the shooter and still gets beat alot)
