But if you trade him, you have to get someone that is the other teams best NHL ready prospect. Any first round pick outside the top five is five years away from being useful. Yes, like the Bruins did getting Minten from the Leafs for Carlo. Leafs blew that one big time. Sabres need a similar type deal if they do move Tuch. For sure. A high pick AND a roster player for next year. Quote
LGR4GM Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago We play Calgary tomorrow and they have added a player Quote
Doohickie Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Eh. Waiver claims are always trash players. Quote

Lost his spot with Minten playing well. Bruins opted for the tougher, heavier guy in Viel for the 4th line. Beecher is a decent face off guy and PK guy but not much else. The Sabres equivalent move would be keeping Dunne and waiving Danforth (if healthy) or maybe Krebs. Calgary probably just wants bodies for their tear down to come. 1 Quote
shrader Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago The very first team on the priority list claimed him. These are the spots where I would love to know how many claims were made. It’s also the time where I’m waiting for the first “you suck Kevyn, why didn’t you claim him”. 1 Quote
Sabres73 Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Elliotte Friedman today saying nobody will be out of it at Thanksgiving like in past years because of the parity and closeness in the standings, particularly in the Eastern Conference. He's correct. Edited 16 hours ago by Sabres73 1 1 Quote
Doohickie Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Nate Danielson scored a goal for the Red Wings by dragging the puck around the goalie and tucking it into the goal... and Mickey Redmond described it as "scored a goal like Tage Thompson." 🙂 But then they said it was offside. Pretty much If we win tomorrow as well as the Ducks beat Boston The Division will look like this DET 20 GP - 25pts BOS 22 GP - 24pts MTL 19 GP - 23pts TBL 19 GP - 22pts OTT 19 GP - 22pts FLA 19 GP - 21pts TOR 20 GP - 20pts BUF 20 GP - 20pts That is absurdly close Quote
Jorcus Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Probably not the worst boarding I have seen but it was boarding. Then moments later the game tying goal wiped out. I think it was the right call because of the leg kick as Robertson went by but I guess you could go either way. Quote
