I think TP will be forced to do something... the player exodus will start with stars Dahlin Thompson etc wanting trades... Adams will get fleeced, Sabres will miss the playoffs, Adams will get promoted to POHO because Terry needs his a$$ sniffing sycophant, Jarmo will get moved to GM. Ruff will get fired and the worst PP coach in the history of the league appert will get made head coach. We will be devoid of any real talent, stuck with massive contracts like Norris, Power, Greenway, Muel etc who probably won't even make a half a season without being hurt agaaaain... literally no free agents will even consider entering New York state let alone come here. And if you thought this dysfunction bush league incompetent abyss was bad... you ain't seen nothing yet Odd comment and repeatedly proven untrue but I guess forget it you're rolling. Quote

It's what I think will happen this year... not sure why its odd... and i am confused about how its been repeatedly proven untrue... each year is a new year that is an amalgamation of prior years. This is the year I think the levy breaks... you think I am odd or stupid or whatever that's fine but it has not repeatedly proven untrue as this is a new year with this team carrying forward the consistent losing, frustration and dysfunctional culture forward... at what point are stars like Dahlin etc done with it... I think it starts this year. Quote

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!" "Shut up he's on a roll" ... lol well played Quote

What did he learn from Okposo? That is most likely his blueprint for what an NHL captain looks like. Which gets into how few truly effective veterans our kids have played with. The Sabres blew the whole captain thing when they picked Eichel over ROR in my opinion. As for Dahlin, I can only go by his on-ice effort and his willingness to play hard. It's difficult to develop that 'hate-to-lose' culture when ownership/management keeps moving the guys who truly hate to lose out of the organization. O'Reilly hated to lose, put that feeling into words, and was traded. Eichel and Reinhart were sick of losing and didn't want to go through another rebuild. Adams claimed that they didn't want to be here, traded them and then proceeded with his idiotic and doomed rebuild. It's difficult to build that hate-to-lose culture when you label those players who voice dissatisfaction with losing as dissenters to the cause, and then move them out of the organization. 2 1 Quote

Seems to be a consistent theme in both teams Terry owns. He wants compliant, don't ever rock the boat people in his organizations. They consistently trade or cut anyone on either team who might voice any issues within the team. Terry thinks having his type of people, with his “faith, family, football/hockey” values is the most important thing in an organization. 1 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted 56 minutes ago Report Posted 56 minutes ago Just had a conversation with the wife about Tuch. I explained a short history of good players the Sabres trade who then win a cup. She asked, so the Sabres are like a farm team? 1 Quote

SwampD Posted 5 minutes ago Report Posted 5 minutes ago The Sabres have always been a farm team. They luck into a good squad every so often, but that’s about it. Lately, not so often. Quote
