Yes it is, after you read the tweet.

i don’t follow.

i’m also pretty sure that i don’t want to follow and will regret asking for clarification.

it’s a  mickey mouse move to announce lysowski’s reassignment without having someone on staff to take over the beat.

But you need at LEAST 4 people to cover Bills rookie & invite minicamp.  Just how many people do you need to cover THE draft lottery?  The Snooze thinks, and proably agree with them, that it doesn't warrant a reporter's full output.  Plus, they still have Harrington to opine about it.  Do they really need an entire journalist to opine about such a weightedy matter?  Probably not.

No idea when the Sabres will make whatever changes Friedman hinted at official.  And the draft isn't for another month and a half.  They can probably pull Lance back into the Sabres beat for the day when the 1st occurs and should have somebody else in place by the latter.

Regardless of how the Sabres are playing, don't you think getting an NFL beat is a promotion?

yes I do. I think he's literally in heaven right now. Happy to get away from this crap and he can deal with a bigger better team.

And a more prestigious league, even if he were covering the Browns.

I thought you were overreacting to something that happens every day. It's the offseason for the Sabres and Bills, so to have Lance cover both teams while a new Sabres beat writer is hired is perfectly normal. I thought maybe you misread the tweet, saying there would be no one covering the Sabres.

No, I saw it.

The local “newspaper” still “has someone” “covering” the local “pro hockey team.”

He’s been assigned to covering the Bills, but will “pull double duty” for the time being.

It’s horsesh1t.

Of course, the decayed corpse that is the former animated journalistic body of The Buffalo News is now so far gone that it hardly smells of rot anymore. Barely anything for the vultures to pick at.

It’s a sadly fitting development for “the Sabres.”

I totally do not understand why you feel this way.

I'm just not "with the program" here.

I speak only for myself.

There's really nothing to cover... Oh hey "sabres lose again" super exciting... Or "no news on the floundering sabres"

The local “newspaper” has come to the same conclusion that … most have: The Sabres don’t matter.

The News is hiring a new Sabres beat reporter. Why does that not register with you?

No wonder Lance was more outspoken about the buffoonery related to the Sabres.

He graduated to the Bills.

It registers with me.

I’m not sure why you fail to understand or acknowledge why I view the staffing and hiring processes as suboptimal in this instance.

But that tracks, like I said.

I think it's more the tendency to go ballistic over any little thing, which is an extension of the state is the Sabres. In short, you're overreacting. Which, ironically, also tracks.

Lol. Yes, indeed. If nothing else, my content here is characterized by overreactions.

I agree. You're fairly rational. But you are in this case. Did they run out of coffee or something?

So, I'm fairly rational, but in this case I'm overreacting.

So it doesn't track?

I'm just trying to keep things straight.

No shortage of coffee in my life -- although I stick to two 8 oz. servings a day anyway.
