Wow the refs are even against the Jr. Sabres! Where does this conspiracy end?

Mostly the refs just aren't good, however Samuels-Thomas and Kea before him certainly had it out for us

The players we draft are not aggressive enough. I do get points made but like Power, you cannot instill that style of hockey into someone that does not play that way. I get that is what the AHL is for, but if our farm team is having that problem at the AHL level, it is not going to get better when they get to the NHL. I do agree that having more skilled players is nice, but this team is not built to make it all the way. This team is not able to handle that next level physicality that comes in the playoffs in both the NHL and AHL.

Which players on Rochester are you referring to?

That got away from them. Do or die Friday.

How did the locals treat you?

Locals were pretty friendly.  Got a few ‘Josh Allen sucks’ comments walking through the concourse but otherwise just some friendly ribbing after the game.  However my French is not great so maybe the non English comments were harsher lol.

I got hammered on gin drinks a couple years back in Laval and had a great time, I can speak a tad of French so I crap talked in French. Drive from Ottawa into Montreal and took the train to Bell Place.

Amerks scored that night first to make it 1-0 and I was the only one who cheered, got some heat for that. Then I went to get more gin and in the time I was gone, Laval made it 4-1😂😂 ultimately losing 8-1 I believe. But it was a blast and the locals ribbed me but we were all laughing as well. The one guy started counting the goals against but was missing half of his ring finger so when he got to that I got him good, said in French "Laval has 3.5 goals" sweet buddy 😂😂

My gal had to drive my drunk @ss back to Ottawa as I couldn't even think about it, but not before hitting some greasy spoon on the outskirts for a rueben and poutine lol.

Would Def go again for the atmosphere and the gin drinks lol. But seems like the Amerks just can't beat them.

Were you able to return serve and call out a random CFL player?

Yep. First round draft picks I understand taking the BPA regardless of style (although I would value aggression as a talent much more than Sabres have the last two decades).  But every other round you can and should be supplementing your organization with the type of players you are sorely lacking.  It looks like the last draft or two they have started to draft that way but it needed to happen a long time ago.
