Update: Prospect Challenge Adding Ottawa and Montreal. Scheduled September 14-20

The Sabres Annual Prospect Challenge in September maybe expanding by two teams, Ottawa and Montreal.

Pittsburgh back in?

They would replace Pittsburgh who is no longer a participant.

 

Am curious to see how they'd run a 5 team tourney.  Short round robin games w/ the top 4 out of that slotted into a pair of semifinals would seem most likely IMHO.

Would the Pens even have enough prospects to field a team? Their teams the past few years have been sad.

For now it’s the only time a team wearing Sabres Jerseys can destroy a team in Boston Jerseys

Double elimination tourney would be okay.

I never cared for the previous format of whomever has the most points after 3 games is the champ.  There should be at least 1 game(after a round robin) to determine a champion.
