I mean, he still has 9 goals on pure skill alone. What's that mean for when he actually learns how to play at this level?

It means good things! Positive thoughts! I like it.

Honestly though I think his game really would benefit from some time on the wing to lessen the defensive responsibilities. I forgot who proposed it a few games back, but I'm on board with a McGinn-Girgensons-Eichel line for a little bit.

Hey.... not a bad thread length for a late game.  Good job, Sabrespacers.

Ted Nolan would salute our compete.

The D is missing Pysyk's steady game and breakout passing.

I think we're all starting to realize the impact of Pysyk, not only by addition but by addition via subtraction of Carlo/Weber as well. Plus McCabe seems to play much better with him than Bogo, then again, Carlos was playing much better without Bogo as well. For as big of a dude Bogo is, he sure plays like a a lot

Watching Bogosian, you can so clearly see all of the shortcomings that Winnipeg fans bitched about regularly.

Definitely. He's nowhere near a top pairing guy, and probably the support guy on a 2nd pair. He brings no offense, and if his physicality and net clearing abilities are supposedly his strengths, then he is up. Dude is the biggest pylon I've ever seen when it comes to stopping the pass in front of the net. He should be winning board battles with regularity and hitting guys hard as they enter the zone, but instead all he's doing is backing up and then turning the puck over

We honestly had more shots than the Canucks? Not in a million years would I have guessed that. We were so lousy, I think that says more about Vancouver than it does us.

Did not see the actuall game, has just been following it trough you guys and nhl.com, such a sad story regardning shots on goal vs actuall play.

I've been thinking on this and back to some of Bylsma's statements in the offseason about how he feels the hardest thing on a defenseman is to get him to turn around and chase the puck. Is it possible he's coaching these guys to back off to prevent forwards from getting the puck behind them and making them chase?
