If I am looking at this right we (the Sabres) are 94% assured of being the best seed in the draft lottery and a 5% chance of being the 2nd best seed in the draft lotto and 1% chance of being the third best seed in the lotto. So, after tonight's game we are 99% assured of drafting either #1, or #2. I stand by my earlier prediction. Oh, we have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. I found myself sucking down drinks in the Harbour club and ended up missing a very good chunk of the game... And, we've been combing the trash heaps all season. D'Agostini, Omark, Konopka, Conocher... Playing with effort is great and is a testament to Ted Nolan. Not to slight the point about how bad our roster is, but quite a few people are wondering why Ottawa couldn't trade Conacher. They gave up a decent asset in Bishop for him, and he didn't fit well in OTT, but many are still surprised Conacher couldn't attract more interest. Now, as for D'Agostini, Omark, Konopka...
