Ron Rolston said he got stitches and is out about two weeks. They may put him on IR and let him rehab up here before sending him back to junior. I love Nikita but there is no reason to rush him. We have a ton of ppl who can play defense this season. Are they the best? No but they are NHL defenders and another yr will help Zadorov's raw potential. Remember last year was his first year in the OHL. He came over from Russia with a ton of raw talent. Giving him 25mins a night in the OHL on a good London team will just benefit him more. He can get stronger, learn the NA Game better, work on his offense, work on his positioning, and have success. Next season, he can join the Sabres as a much more polished and capable guy who can contribute to a team that has some questions as far as defense goes next season.
