Who cares how it looks, as long as Sabres can get a few goals and shut the NYR out. It's now what i want the NHL to be, but that is life, and right now, Sabres working the system really good. -That was the best period by Niedermayer this season. He was hitting, he played well by the boards and he was creating. -Sabres had 0 giveaways in the first. Impressive. -Continue to stay out of the box. -Milbury is very annoying. What have they been saying? they were absolutely furious when buffalo got their first PP when the defenseman knocked ennis down... they're right it wasn't a penalty, but ennis is tiny and got out muscled by a big 6'3 defenseman and they accused him of embellishing it and taking a dive. they were livid when vanek was creditted with the goal by Myers.. not that it makes a difference but they just absolutely could not stand to see a bufflao forward get creditted with the goal. They could start talking about how Miller's pads aren't regulation size and he had paid the facilities crew to install bigger pipes on the goal posts to take an extra 0.75 squared inches off of the goal size. They were upset the guy in the arena gave credit to Vanek when it clearly wasn't, not because he is a forward. And I think you misheard Wolski.
