  1. So what you're saying is that good management and scouting matters quite a bit.
  2. I am a "righty" through and through. I'm not what any normal person who knows anything about politics would call a "far-righty," however. As for your second point, well, the Perpetual Outrage Brigade said it shall be done, and so it was. Thanks for proving my points.
  3. Ya only a far-right winger would say those things. Harry Reid is loved and revered by everyone else.
  4. "Far right rhetoric" lol. If you follow me on Twitter, you'll see that I pretty much hate anything that has to do with the "far right" lmao. But again, thanks for proving my points.
  5. And I'm the creep and the weirdo, lol. I'm glad it's here for you to read. Maybe people will see that inciting the Perpetual Outrage Brigade, while predictable, was probably unwarranted given the content. But again, thanks for proving my points.
  6. If you wanted to read it, maybe you people shouldn't have gone dumpster-diving and gotten it pulled from the website it was published on. But again, thanks for proving my points.
  7. I stand by everything I said. Thanks for proving my points.
  8. That...that right there is why I want Boston out of the playoffs at all costs. Even if it means Ottawa gets in. What a despicable group of individuals.
  9. Ted Cruz, aka Conservative Barack Obama.
  10. Boston and Florida are both playing to win. Pretty refreshing, I must say. Go Florida.
  11. This actually happened? Good GOD how revolting.
  12. I don't watch Edmonton games. I don't give a ###### about Edmonton. Besides, aren't they the team that has had all those #1 picks and gotten jack out of it?
  13. The last thing I care about is the draft. I'm not incapable of learning patterns and as such, I know how drafts work. Guarantee this, guarantee that. There are no guarantees. Draft the player in the position that you're in and that's that. Scouting, management, and develop matter way more than draft position. If I can get 2 points and make it tougher for my most hated rival to make the playoffs, I'm going to root for just that. And yes, I will remember beating the Bruins on March 17. Lindback's performance was memorable and if the Bruins end up missing the playoffs somehow, that game will be a major reason why. But hey, I value rivalry still. Not quite sure why people laughed at me saying the losing on purpose crap has ruined sports in recent years. Is it because it's happened every so often throughout history and it's not such a recent thing? Sure. The Celtics in 1997, the Penguins for Lemieux, blah blah whatever. It has never been such a widespread cancerous mentality across all sports teams and fanbases as it is right now. Utopian "if you ain't first, you're last" garbage. It's getting to a point where I almost hope both of these players bust just so sports fans can shut the hell up about draft picks from here on out. But I know that will never happen. Some people have just too much of a video game mentality for that narrative to die. But hey, all this is just rehashed garbage. Same stupid argument that's been had all day every day for the last God-knows-how-many years on this board. What a show.
  14. Actually, it is. Just because you're in favor of it doesn't mean losing games on purpose isn't something that's pathetic and disgusting and is something that is completely ruining sports in recent years.
  15. I don't like the word "tank" for teams that aren't losing on purpose. Since the Buffalo Sabres are losing on purpose, the word is appropriate.
  16. No. Let's call it what it is. Are you afraid to own your beliefs? You want the team to lose on purpose. Don't fluff it up with your .
  17. Great for Lindback. The piece of ###### SBNation "Die By The Blade" douchebag on Twitter is insufferable. Beat the Bruins.
  18. Is it bandwagoning to wait until the team is watchable and likable again to watch them again and immerse myself again and spend money on apparel again or is it simply not wanting to support a team and organization that is losing on purpose? Because it's really hard to feel anything but disgust for this entire franchise top to bottom at the moment, from ownership to upper management to the coaching staff to the roster to the media to the fanbase.
