carpandean
http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2009/0...ylor-pyatt.html Former Sabres winger Taylor Pyatt is mourning his fiancee, who died Thursday in a car crash while vacationing in Jamaica. Even though he is no longer a Sabre, I think we all gain a small level of caring for players while they are here that caries over after they leave. This is a terrible tragedy for Taylor; one that I can't even begin to imagine. Thoughts and prayers go out.

rickshaw
Brutal. Pyatt is a good guy. He doesn't get mean like we'd like, but he kills penalties and works hard. I feel for him. Poor guy. He's such a nice man. How he'll overcome this, I don't know.
Ohiofan
Oh man...they're just kids, really. What a terrible thing to have to go through so young. This will affect him for the rest of his life. I pray he can eventually find some peace. This just sucks.
