I've never had any problems with StubHub. If you have their app, you can just have the tickets on your phone when you go. (I'm still paranoid enough that I bring a printout in my back pocket too just in case.) Look for the ones that have instant-download. If you're looking for a deal, look at Monday and Tuesday games. You should be able to find something good.

Some F's should have been given when all 3 of those guys were brought onto the team too.

Definitely approve trading Myers and Stafford to complete the Tank that year but we traded them plus prospects and a first rounder for two guys that probably aren't in the long term plans (barring a big turnaround). And now we're a team with some pretty big flaws (like all of our defense after 55 and 29) and we don't have a ton to trade. We traded a lot and got the wrong players. That trade looks like a disaster right now. -
So basically everyone needs to go but two guys. It wasn't that long ago that we felt pretty good about our defense long term, but oh well. Hope Guhle can be an NHLer next year, and we have prospects like Fitzgerald, Borgen, and Florentino that probably should all be signed this summer too. After that, hopefully there are college FAs we can sign this season or prospects we can get from trades. Maybe some F's should have been given when constructing this team.

He was on their top pair most of last year and they finished 2nd in the Pacific (1 point out of first). He's been a nice player for them. I brought it up when other posters were trying to say he sucked or that no one thought much of him when we traded him (I'd say both of those things are not true). I think he's a good second pair guy. I'd feel a lot better if we could magically transport him back her for the rest of the year. Pysyk too. But here we are. -
Pretty much.

Thinking he'd be a good 2nd pair defenseman here and pointing out that he's been a great fit for LA is killing you? -

And yet he'd easily be our third best defenseman here. -

Like the big minutes he's been getting when he was injured and out of the lineup the last 2 months? He's a good player. I get that no one wants to think we screwed up but not having him here hurts right now. Our defense this year is 55 and 29 and a bunch of garbage. -

He played 81 games last year on their top pair. So I'm guessing that's a no on the healthy scratches. We're not used to losing trades badly. So far that one is a disaster. -

McNabb was +11 and had over 200 hits last year, and plays on their top pair, but other than that...yeah. Still waiting for any evidence Kulikov is any good at all. Maybe if he's ever healthy again? -

McNabb and draft picks for Deslaurier and Fasching. Pysyk for Kulikov. Gosh, why is our defense bad? -

We have literally one good pair on defense. The rest is terrible. We can thank our awesome GM for that. -

It'd be a shame if he interrupted GM ZFG in the middle of making another awesome trade. Our defense is somehow weaker than it was in the tank years. -

Nice to see the Sabres completely squander their great start. It should be 5-2 Bruins after that period. -
off topic Star Wars - now with SPOILERS! (Read at your own risk)

The original movies hold up perfectly. They make sense within the universe they created. The whole "campy" thing started as a (weak) defense of how bad the prequels turned out. The original trilogy movies all still work as great summer movies, and they're still tough to beat in terms of imagination, storytelling, special effects, etc. There's a reason those movies still resonate nearly 40 years later. Then there's Rogue One. It was a B, I guess. It benefited from a really tense final battle and how cool it was to see all the vehicles from the original trilogy in action again. The premise, a Star Wars "war movie", was really interesting when they announced it but now that I've seen it, I'm not sure we needed one. I hate the "we need a new, darker version..." trend in Hollywood, and I feel like I need a Trump hat with "Make Star Wars Fun Again" on it. Spoiler-vision notes: Anyways, it was entertaining enough and a decent addition to the series but certainly a step below the original trilogy and TFA last year. I'm looking forward to Episode 8 because of Rian Johnson and because it'll be the first of the Disney movies that they aren't making on a compressed timeline. It should help. -
BRAWNDO covered it, but Whaley neglected QB and went all-in on a WR. That's incredibly stupid by itself. The fact that it wasn't even the best WR of that class, and maybe only the 3rd best of round 1 makes it about 100x worse. Making a bold move for a WR (not even the right WR) when we still don't have a QB is reason enough to fire him. OTOH, all my friends in Dallas are pretty happy that the Bills like Dak Prescott but didn't want to prioritize QB (ever). And that's *before* the tragedy of a press conference we saw today where they sent Lynn out to explain what Brandon/Whaley are doing. Best of luck to Lynn, and hopefully he can find a better organization to work for next year.

Bills fire another coach. ROR has to have an appendectomy. Princess Leia dies. I'm calling it...tonight every commercial is going to be Marlene getting a needle in her eye. Every. Commercial. -
Ugh, wrong WR. I meant Mike Evans. And not sure the point even stands since he was taken 8th after everything else happened. Whatever, that trade sucked when we did it and sucks even more now.
-
Also, how the hell is Doug Whaley still part of this organization? The Sammy Watkins trade has to be among the most disastrous in recent memory -- both because we didn't get good value for moving up and because staying put would have landed us WRs that were BETTER (Odell Beckham or Antonio Brown). If we'd have drafted a good QB under his watch, we might not be here. And F*** Russ Brandon. Why is he still around? How many years can you have an organization circle the drain before you pull the plug?

I like Concept of Toub.

Hopefully he's back in time for the Sabres game in Dallas next month. Also, hopefully we aren't completely out of the playoff race by then.

This might be the first time a celebrity death hit me like a punch to the gut. I literally can't remember my life before I saw the original Star Wars movies. Carrie Fisher passing away all of a sudden makes me feel old. And losing her and Kenny Baker just a few months apart is awful.
