Per Vogl: Jason Botterill confirms the signing bonus for Ryan O'Reilly isn't due until the end of the day and talks continue. Per Larry Brooks 4 minutes ago: Islanders in on O'Reilly trade talks with Buffalo, we are told. Center is owed $7.5M bonus by midnight. Return package obviously would change from today to tomorrow.

    I struggled for a spot to put this copy and paste from Bob McCarthy (politics reporter for TBN). This thread is as good as any, I guess.     TBN posted a story saying it’s expected to be a 3 year deal valued at 10-11M. Harrington authored it. He said Hutton’s being signed as the starter. Which is contrary to what JBOT’s said about how he expects the goalies to be used next season.

    I’ve given it some time, and my initial antipathy for this thread’s original post hasn’t faded. I expect great things from Messrs. Eichel and Dahlin.
