Whoever the GM turns out to be, will be judged on how he sheds the dead weight on this team. One would hope that's been a primary topic of discussion during the interview process.

COL was much much worse than expected. They lost Varlomov for half the season. I hardly consider that an intentional tank.

I like how everybody has penciled him into the top 4 without even seeing him play. It's a roll of the dice folks, don't even bank on him making the team out of camp.

Had a pinhole leak in the wall of my house. Ruined about 24sq ft of flooring. That's the 4th such incident in the 10 years we've in that house. Water pressure is a major issue where we live and recently installed a new pressure regulator but apparently too late.

Haha, yeah there's no shortage of Mexican brews. Just about every craft brewery down here specialize in IPAs which is pretty much all my friends drink... Hangar 24, Left Coast, etc.. I like the occasional IPA, but it's mandatory that the beer guy bring at min a 30 pack of CLs to the game which serves more as a refreshing post game beverage than just something to drink slowly and enjoy the flavor. I miss Labatt dearly. Beer snob I am not.

As a GM you need to have interpersonal communication skills and savvy. Dubas seems like a good kid, but I don't see him as an authoritarian figure who would demand respect from coach and players, or more importantly, from other GMs around the league. I'd rather have a guy who already has built relationships with other GMs around the league and demands character, discipline, blah blah blah...

His save percentage is artificially inflated because BUF allows the most shots on net from low percentage scoring areas. He's not as good as his stats advertise.

Trading Sam or 1st round pick as part of a package for a dman would be a panic move IMO. They have all summer to work something out, draft BPA and use him as a key piece if needed, no need to rush.

Bylsma prolly ends up coaching NCAA. Murray will be a head scout somewhere.
